Pros: I love the look of AOC monitors. In fact i'm inclined to say it's the best looking monitor in its class. Nice and thin, picture is great, no dead pixels. I've been running two of these for a little over at year at this point and I haven't run into any issues. This particular monitor sold me on the manufacturer. When I look for monitors I go specifically for AOC.

Cons: There is a one major downside to this monitor. The stand is ok, but I really prefer a vesa mount. There isn't one. I'm not sure why honestly...maybe its because the monitor is so thin, but its pretty insane to me to not include a vesa mount. I did find an adapter made specifically for this monitor that gives you vesa mounting, but its a little clunky and this monitor would be a full five stars with a vesa mount.

The external power brick used to supply power to the monitor is also a bit annoying. It adds unnecessary junk to the desk.

I also wish they had just left the speakers out all together.

Other Thoughts: Its a great monitor at a great price and i'd recommend it to anyone. With a vesa mount this thing would be 5 stars. If they found a way to leave out the external power brick it would be even better but that particular downside isn't bad enough to justify the loss of a star. I wish I could give this product a full five stars because it actually does deserve it...but the vesa...the vesa thing is annoying. Don't not buy this because of that though. Find the adapter by searching for "AOC vesa adapter" and you'll be just fine.

Pros: Cheap. Thin bezels. IPS panel.

Cons: Not a very stable stand which is non height adjustable. Only DVI and VGA, no HDMI

Other Thoughts: Had these for over a year and they haven't skipped a beat. I chose them for Nvidia Surround. I have used many monitors from AOC, ASUS, Sony, Samsung, HP and Acer and for the price, these just can't be beat.

Pros: Colors are good and I haven't detected any dead pixels. 23" monitor measures less than 21" in width which is good in my book. Response rate is very acceptable.

Cons: Any display resolution I set above 1680 X 1050 results in a viewable area of only 21.25". The monitor stand allows for screen tilting but not raising or lowering.

Pros: +Cheap.
+IPS reduces color change because of viewing angle.
+Displays over 16.7 MILLION colors.

Cons: -The colors are washed out (cold) next to my cheap monitor (HannsG HZ281).
-You cannot fix the colors and also use dynamic contrast.
-Dynamic contrast effect is severely reduced if not in dark room.
-OSD menu is unwieldy behind the screen.
-OSD menu keys up and down move backwards.
-Wobbly base.

Other Thoughts: I'd gotten tired of looking at the blue glow in my cheap HannsG HZ281 and it will be years before 4k monitors are competitive so I thought I would sacrifice 1200 height and response time for better color and dynamic contrast but the color is even worse; the white of this AOC is even bluer than my old cheap monitor.

Pros: Looks high-end, matte display, thin bezels, matte metallic finish, viewing angles, good colors and brightness,

Cons: Not as robustly constructed as your average Dell monitor.

Other Thoughts: After doing a lot of research on the best monitor for around $150, I picked this one. It's among the better looking monitors out there, and looks much more expensive than it really is. I guess I lucked out because I'm not having any problems with this one: no wobbly, crooked stand, no heat issues, and I don't care about DVI or speakers since I rely on HDMI and earbuds.

Pros: Excellent monitor for a short time.

Cons: Capacitor blew after 6 months. Speakers are essentially useless. Production cost would have been better allocated to higher quality electronics on the display.

Other Thoughts: Never had a monitor burn out this quickly. Very disappointing.

Pros: Good looking, Decent price when compared to similar monitors

Cons: Build Quality, Flimsy Stand

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these almost a year ago. One I had to send back because it was becoming pixelated and colors were not displaying properly. I was sent a brand new replacement by AOC. Now the other monitor has a box in the upper left hand corner that is a different color. I would not recommend to anyone.

Pros: Used for over 1 month so far, works great and no dead pixels. Bright Clear Screen. This was the only 23", IPS monitor that would fit in my computer desk ( monitor is 23" as measured from one corner of the illuminated part of the screen to the other) .

Cons: Wobbly stand, but works OK if monitor is lightly supported on one of the top corners (mine sits in a recess in my computer desk, and is supported lightly by the edge of the recess). No DVI connection. Controls on back of the monitor (Hard to reach when monitor is in a recess like mine). No labels on front of monitor for rear controls.

Other Thoughts: Great monitor for the price. So far so good.

Pros: This monitor has very competitive performance and specs to other similarly priced and performing monitors. After establishing that it performs well, there is something that sets it aside from many monitors in my opinion. That is that it has a matte finish on both the frame and the screen. This means that it won't be a finger print magnet like most monitors and also that there is virtually no glare! I saw it in the store and couldn't see the reflection of the lights like I saw in every single other monitor. Also the edgeless thing is cool.

Cons: Just note that the edgeless thing is not all the way like the try to advertise in a few of the pictures. It doesn't actually bother me one bit, but just be aware because nobody likes false advertising.

Pros: All pros still remain as I listed in my first review.

Cons: After nearly a year with these monitors, they are failing bit by bit. I initially had to replace one due to a very noticeable back-light leak. Now all 3 of them have back-light ripples along the bottom of the display. Even worse, one display flickers! The ripples keep growing and the flickering starts at random.

Other Thoughts: I don't recommend anyone purchase this monitor if they are looking for reliability and quality. I have owned 4, and all 4 have become defective within the first ~8 months of ownership. For 200 dollars these seemingly high quality panels look like a bargain, but they are absolutely not. The materials are wobbly and nothing is put together very well. The bottom bezel gets so hot that I predict it is the cause of the back-light rippling. If I can explain it further, due to the lack of a plastic bezel around the monitor, the sheets of material that make up the display simply begin to separate, and this process is sped up by the extreme heat. Anyway, point made, these monitors are a bit of a fail in engineering, despite their great initial appearance.
