4 out of 5 eggsgreat low end IPS

Pros: Picked this up on sale for $140. Moderately accurate display, sufficient for gaming and movie watching. Super thin side bezels and an attractive brushed silver lower bezel and base. Optional "picture mode" where screen can sit with no bezel. Plenty of options. i-menu on the included CD makes adjustments easier than using the buttons.

Cons: Would not be good for color accurate work like photo editing. Appears darker than some displays even at highest settings. Takes a lot of fiddling to get an acceptable picture. Menu is counter intuitive and the provided software is garbage (save for the interactive menu), is it as a coaster.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good for cheap IPS

Pros: Better colors -- wider color range or gamut than regular LCD monitors & pretty accurate. Designed to use with or without stand or base.

Cons: Base/stand problems. These cheaper e-IPS panels are not as good as the [much] more expensive, regular IPS monitors -- there is a difference.

Other Thoughts: Bought this locally because of the AOC brand so I could very easily return it, but was pleasantly surprised. I picked up some Ikea Besta aluminum legs, attached to a shelf, & got rid of the leaning stand -- works & looks great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: All 3 of these display panels were quick and easy to assemble. The viewing angle on these panels is also absolutely unreal. I can look almost directly across the display from the side and still get a clear image. This is true for above and below. The response time is average and I have no problem with it. Colors are vivid, and unlike some monitors, they are very accurate. The matte finish allows for great image quality in sunlight.

Cons: The seemingly nonexistent bezel is not true when powered on, but I purchased this item already knowing this.
The menu buttons and power are on the back, which requires me to reach under each panel in my 3-panel setup to power them on.
The connector to the base is very wobbly and holds the screens all at ~5 degrees clockwise tilt, making for a bad image flow between the screens. I must stress though, this is not a large problem.

Other Thoughts: The 2 watt speakers are no better than laptop speakers, they may as well be ignored.
It would be nice if these came with HDMI cables, not just VGA.
For the cost of these monitors, this is more than I could have expected.

4 out of 5 eggsDelivers what it promises

Pros: Very modern, clean look
only 1 cm border, 1.5 cm thick slab look
crisp text
deep and vibrant colors

Cons: Leans a bit to the right, but simple to solve with a shim like a toothpick
Don't expect too much from tiny speakers that point upwards in the back, but they do work.

Other Thoughts: I have been impressed with AOC monitors, both performance, look and cost. I use it with my Hackintosh and Windows 7. The screen can be tilted back and forth, but there are no other adjustments. Monitor does not have DVI input, but a cheap converter will do the job. I use it with an inexpensive 2m cable.

5 out of 5 eggs27" version

Pros: Very good monitor for the price. I have the 27" version bought from another place, and it has the same resolution. The 27" doesn't look nearly as sharp because of the extra size, but overall the monitor's color is excellent. Be sure to spend some time tuning it; esp when it comes to the clock. turn that down to about 48 and instantly all blur is gone. Play with the setting and tweak clear type and all is well!

Cons: stand is a bit wobbly, then again, so is my desk...but the wobbles do stop quickly...to be expected with a small arm made of metal

4 out of 5 eggsAfter some more tweeking

Pros: Solid construction, Nice look and overall feel.

Cons: Light bleeding, difficult to manage menu.

Other Thoughts: For some reason or another on this monitor it looks best in text mode- darks apear darker, and the overall image has a more natural look to it without artificial contrast. Further reviews if necessary. (lamp explodes...etc.)

4 out of 5 eggsAOC

Pros: It's got a great look to it.
No dead Pixels.
Shipped well packaged.
Can show all colors.
Haven't used the speakers but have read their nice.
(Use stereo 270w instead of 2w)

Cons: Took awhile to understand how to tune it....so a bit of a learning curve.
Blacks are not total darkness as one would always want.
No hdmi cable? cummon...at $280

Other Thoughts: I think it's a good monitor for those who want to watch fullscreen 1080p movies, and gaming.
Professional looking design.
Decent stand.
Two HDMI outs....so run your computer and your game system at once....or throw in a third oldschooler vga and you got a trifecta.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Misleading

Pros: A cheap IPS pannel.

Cons: Was advertised as a narrow bezel and shown with pretty much an image as wide as the screen but that is not the case.
