Pros: This monitor was $99 and looks great! Out of the box the colors and contrast are sharp, it only tweaked a couple settings in my Mac's calibration preferences. Other inexpensive monitors have to be tweaked for days and still don't come out all that great. I am using this for Photoshop and Final Cut Pro and so far the images are translating well to other devices. This monitor has great angles and nice even back lighting, and is really light weight if you need to transport it. I am totally satisfied with this purchase. It comes with both DVI and VGA cables also.

Cons: It's only 20"

Other Thoughts: I plan on buying another of these.

Pros: Very nice contrast and brightness.
Vivid color (Front facing and angle).
Cheap. For the price, this is the best monitor you can get. You can't seriously go wrong with what you pay for this HP monitor.

Cons: a bit slow with screen response when switching between screen, especially for gaming and multi app using.

Other Thoughts: This is an IPS monitor so you can't really compare the responsiveness with TN monitor. If you care more about the color and display image quality, this monitor is for you. For the price, this is really the best you can get. If you care more about the speed and responsiveness then TN is your alternative monitor. I personally love this monitor. Although, it's about 2ms slower than TN, it is well worth it for the color quality.

Pros: This thing sounds really good on paper, managed to get my hopes up.

Cons: I hate myself for buying this monitor and it's mainly because of the terribly thick anti-glare coating that makes everything look like it's sitting behind a layer of frosted glass. The coating is designed to diffuse light coming at the monitor but it's so incredibly thick that it's actually diffusing light coming from the monitor as well. I've never seen a picture so distorted by anti-glare coating before. What should be sharp edges, especially those on text, have a shimmer around them. Everything is fuzzy and blurred. I've spent hours playing with the settings but there is no way to correct this error in manufacturing.

In addition, there is no HDMI but that's mentioned. The power adapters are huge. Everything is plastic (wouldn't have hurt or cost much to make the bottom bezel out of aluminum). The built in OSD and controls are total garbage. Color calibration mandatory.

Other Thoughts: I noticed another review that talked about the anti-glare coating problem has suddenly disappeared.

Pros: Cheap, viewing angle, picture quality is great and they look nice.

Cons: NONE

Pros: Must say the screen is bright and vibrant. I was reading lots of reviews on dead pixels and brightness issues with other monitors. Luckily none of that happened to me. Bought 2 for $200 on egg shocker deal it was hard to pass up for 20".

Cons: -No HDMI
-Its 1600 x 900 resolution

Other Thoughts: I think its a good monitor, obviously the bottom is not seamless and the edges are a little thick. All in all its a good screen I'm happy with my purchase.

Pros: Hands down the price makes this a hard bargain to pass up. Quality of the picture is good and it comes with a DVI M-DVI F and a VGA m -VGA F cable. Setup super easy and accomplished exactly what I had hoped to. Purchased a DVI - Mini DP cable to hook up my iMac and use it as a second monitor and using one of the included vga cables to hook up my PC laptop, the auto sensing feature knows which computer is on and switches to be the second display and if both computers are on I can manually select which computer uses the monitor. Can't be beat for the price and if you are looking to extend your desktop then this monitor is for you.

Cons: The picture is a little off in terms of colors, can probably get it pretty close to the Mac but will never be the same, doesn't bother me much and for what I paid for the monitor I can totally live with it.

Pros: Modern looking, new IPS monitor from HP.

Cons: I was all set to buy this at Newegg and then the price changed. Now it is $20 cheaper with free shipping at "another big name" online retailer.
I kept refreshing the page all day to see it it was a glitch.

Other Thoughts: I like Newegg and buy most computer products from here, but they do not price match. And if I can get the same thing for less from somewhere else, why wouldn't I.

Pros: I received this monitor on 3/1/13. Very fast free delivery from Newegg. The picture is very clear and the monitor is extremly easy to assemble didn't even have to read the instructions.

Cons: Slight bleeding at the top of the screen when playing some games though. Not a big deal though its less than 1/4".

Pros: Good looking.
Shows a good image.
IPS panel ensures great viewing angles.
Very thin, very light.

Cons: For a monitor with such high viewing angles, you would kind of expect VESA mounting. Well, there is no VESA mounting, forcing you to either use the included stand, or some other mounting method (I opted to use a metal file and Gorilla Glue).

Other Thoughts: Had to tinker around with the image settings for a few minutes, but eventually I got an image that was clear and crisp.

It doesn't really affect my opinion of the product, but it's worth noting that it has an external power supply.

Pros: This monitor is great. The picture is beautiful, it is lightweight, and the bezel that goes around the screen is just about nonexistent. There is only about a quarter inch of black screen that frames the picture, which would be great for using multiple monitors. I love it! And thank you newegg for the free shipping, which only took ONE day!!!

Cons: I wish I had gotten two instead of one!
