1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work...for me

Pros: It's a great little monitor, has would be great for that little extra space I wanted....

Cons: The drivers/software to use this little monitor does not play will with Catalyst Control Center, or ATI drivers....The support in windows 7 is non-existent making it hard to find any support.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend if you had one monitor and an NVIDIA based GPU, but not if you have a dual monitor set-up with an AMD/ATI GPU.

5 out of 5 eggsI love this little guy

Pros: Works great, can boot to it (however you won't be able to access Bios on some computers. Great if you need a very small screen with a home server or other applications. Doesn't need a power supply, powered by USB (2)

Cons: uses 2 USB ports, somewhat limited brightness

Other Thoughts: Needed this for a stand alone server, works as advertised with windows7, So far have purchased 3 work great for what I needed it to do.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Mxie (VOIP, messenger) app's

Pros: This is perfect for our VOIP software. You can run it in Portrait mode and it's just wonderful. Using it with a cheap old Vista Dell. I had my doubts that it would work on such a piece of garbage but it does! We love it.

Cons: Doesn't support XP.
USB only...no VGA or anything else.

Other Thoughts: Buy it with that suction-cup mount (Google it).
It comes with the stylus even though it isn't the touch model.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks, doublesight labeled it was the 7 inch

Pros: Does what you expect. Mini extended desktop on the go.

Cons: The manufacturer mislabeled the back of the monitor as the 7 inch DS-70u.

Have to install drivers before it works

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Portable. Install is a breeze.

Cons: Gloss finish makes it more like a mirror than a monitor. Reflects lights so badly that I had to move my lamp. Had to crank the bightness to make it visible. Does not match colors with my larger monitor. (Could be the other monitor's fault.)

Other Thoughts: I use this for my slingbox, for running Windows media player, and for keeping Outlook open. If you prefer your work space to be dimly lit, then the glossiness won't bother you. Overall a good product.

5 out of 5 eggsA handy addition

Pros: The screen is nice and bright, and a good size to complement a laptop or as a utility monitor for a desktop setup. The kickstand is a nice touch for travel, and the included cover does a very good job of protecting the front of the screen. The included mini-usb to 2usb power/signal cable is a generous length, allowing the unit to be plugged into a desktop hidden away under a desk or in a cabinet. The desktop stand holds the unit firmly in the desired position, but does not fold up with the unit in such a way to allow it to be conveniently brought along, almost requiring the kickstand to be used in travel situations. The unit and cable are light and fit easily in my backpack without taking up too much space or adding bulk.

Cons: The kick-stand desktop stand can be a little annoying. The desktop stand uses a threaded knob to secure it to the unit. From the design it is apparent that they didn't intend for the unit to be taken off of the stand frequently... a lack of foresight IMO. The cable can also be quite long if you are using this with a laptop, meaning that you have a cable scattered over your desk while you are trying to work.

Other Thoughts: The unit could add an unpowered usb port to "give back" the one that it takes up. I really would like to see an improved stand design, incorporating a quick release mechanism, or re-engineering the stand so that the sturdy "desktop" stand is more portable.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my needs

Pros: Thin ! Thin, but enough bezel. Bright display, and crystal clear. I have it for my MBP13, and in mirror mode it forces my MBP to a lower res, but for my needs, perfect.

Cons: The only thing that I found so far is how the power USB plugs in. It is at right angle, which helps, but you have to take care not to put pressure on the connection.

Other Thoughts: I use this as a seperate monitor for showing clients my screen at "lunch meetings". They can hold the screen and interact. without the weird angle the laptop had to be at for showing ideas, and websites.

5 out of 5 eggsGood travel monitor

Pros: Higher resolution than the Mimo 710-S it replaced, good picture and decent response time. Runs fine on a thin diameter single USB cable on my systems (comes with thicker cable with additional USB power plug). Also, compared to the 710-S, like The Guide, it is slightly cheaper.

Cons: Not as portable as the 710-S.

Other Thoughts: Shiny screen is a pro or a con depending on your preference. The bezel is shiny, too, so if you don't like fingerprints, keep that in mind. Overall I've very pleased so far. The snap on cover looks like it offers as much protection as the cover/stand on the 710-S.
