Outstanding Colors, Some Lag
- Pros: Just purchased this monitor and before I even calibrated it, I could see a difference from my old Mitsubishi 2060u. After calibrating with my GMB i1 Display 2, it was amazing. The advertised color gamut is no lie, the greens look outstanding. The monitor came with no dead pixels that I can see. This is an outstanding monitor for photo editing!
- Cons: Unfortunately, aside from photo editing, I also do gaming. It should be noted that the colors in games on this monitor are just as outstanding as for photo editing, but there is some input lag and ghosting. After doing a barrage of testing I came up with an average 44ms input lag vs. my 2060u and about a 12ms pixel persistence. Not horrible for a LCD, but compared to a CRT it can be noticed. Gamers beware, this is probably not the monitor for you. Also, the touch sensitive menu buttons are a bit problematic when calibrating.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, this monitor is a fantasic buy and I denfinately recommend it for non-gamers who want very accurate colors or those who want amazing colors in games where some ghosting won't be a problem.
