5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: 1. Cheap

Cons: 1. No HDMI

Other Thoughts: It bought this a long time ago before others had similar models that were as cheap. Now they're everywhere but this monitor still works fine, basically I don't use it's speakers they stink, but the monitor itself is good. Ahem... just set the amd thing to use the EDID and the colors are great. I would not buy agian now that good models exist elsewhere, but was good at time

3 out of 5 eggsNot a good gaming monitor

Pros: large flat screen
very sturdy.
cat was not able to knock over and break the monitor like my previous monitor.

Cons: 1 dead pixel on very top of screen. it bugs me while gaming because the top half of the screen seems slightly darker then the bottom half when running any game. The monitor will randomly freeze and will go on standby and say that there is no signal. and a restart is neccessary.

Other Thoughts: my Nvidia 8800 gtx 768 MB makes up for the bad monitor.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent LCD monitor, rebate failed

Pros: Large viewing area, clear image, no dead or stuck pixels, good price, both VGA & DVI connections

Cons: Speakers... meh

Stand adjustable for height but not for tilt

Other Thoughts: Was promised two rebates. Got one quickly from the big box store where I purchased this item. Cannot get manufacturer rebate even after applying twice and sending in multiple email requests for owed rebate.

Product is NOT recomended due to abysmal rebate service.

2 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: It powers on... it has VGA and DVI...it has speakers...it's black. VGA and DVI cables included. Decent response time, no ghosting. Bought it because i got a "killer deal" on it. Two eggs instead of 1 for the included cables.

Cons: This has to be one of my 5 worst computer-related investments ever. Low quality panel, horrible color and sharpness, useless speakers, very flimsy stand AND 3 DEAD PIXELS. ONE DEAD PIXEL is hard to accept, 3 is just F**&%$%... forget it.

Other Thoughts: After 2 months of use I relegated this abomination to secondary duties far away from my primary workspace, and replaced it with a much nicer (and very reasonably priced) W-brand 24".

3 out of 5 eggsBeware

Pros: Cheap, big, and clear. Pretty sturdy base.

Cons: You have to be lucky if you want to buy this monitor. I have had 2 of them and both have had dead pixels.

Other Thoughts: First one was fine for about a week, then a permanently blue pixel appeared. 2nd one had a bright red one from the start.

5 out of 5 eggsEnvision LCD Screen

Pros: Very clear display and sharp. Has both DVI-I and VGA display adapters and comes with both... Screen is very thin and lightweight.

Cons: Not cheaper... other than that none

Other Thoughts: Great for people who want to have a great screen or for people like me who are running dual monitors at the moment are both 17' Dell monitors which get the job done for now. But I personally do not the Envision screens but they are great quality and have never seen any dead pixils on any of the ones that i have ever seen.

5 out of 5 eggsHUGE!

Pros: Huge 1680x1050 resolution. Works great with vga cable. Comes with a DVI cable. Easy OSD. The clearest picture I have ever seen!

Cons: Not the monitor's fault, but my GeForce FX5200 didn't support the full resolution with the DVI cable. Had to use VGA, which works great anyways.

Other Thoughts: I switched from this old 15" CRT monitor that took up so much space, and this one is so much bigger and I can use my whole desk! It has exceeded my expectations and works without any problems on both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux.

5 out of 5 eggswolf

Pros: Got this on sell for 209 its great a big upgrade from my old 17inch crt. Played some games and some highdef movies looks great. No dead pixels or stuck ones

Cons: Speakers arent the greatest but im not using them anyway and monitor shakes a little. But i did some checking on it and its not the stand just the swival inside the monitor moves some nothing to worry about.
