Pros: Sorry, I do not own this product, but it took me a while to find this information that really should be listed on the product's spec page.
The AV input jack is a Video/L&R Audio combo jack (like on iPods) but a 2.5mm jack. Not a 3.5mm universally compatible jack.
The actual resolution of the projector is 480×320.
Will power from USB alone.
Cons: Even dismissing the rather poor resolution, the proprietary AV jack is what really kills the product. Couldn't use a standard 3.5mm jack like everyone else?

Great little projector
Reviewed By: Aurelio on 11/9/2009
Tech Level: high - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week
Pros: Smaller than an iPhone (but a little thicker) Brightness is outstanding for a small projection (6 inches) and usable for large projection (say, 40 inches diagonal) in a pitch dark room. Tripod mount. Bundled phone AV cable. Handles PAL and NTSC automatically. Includes two batteries. Low brightness mode doubles battery time to 2 hours and results in barely noticeable change in brightness. Good solid feel to it. Accurate colors. Battery or USB powered so no giant power brick to use. Does include a USB mini power adapter if needed. Lovable and fun.
Cons: Resolution isn't that great. Unit is so light and small that the cables can make it tricky to aim, since they pull on it with the weight. Focus control has very short throw and not a lot of resistance, making it difficult to finely adjust focus. Luckily focus stays where put. I got suspicious "accessory not supported" messages with my iphone when I used the bundled cable. They haven't come again after the 3.1.2 update... but who knows. Built in speaker is worse than the built in speaker on the iPhone. Yes it is that bad. Instead of an integral tripod mount, it comes with a tiny screw (about 3 mm diameter) adapter to standard tripod, which screws in the bottom of the projector. This seems fragile, but maybe it isn't. Time will tell
Other Thoughts: I use mine as a portable second display for my laptop so that I can produce video art in my practice sessions. For live use I would use a powerful projector instead. The resolution is enough for my use and it is so tiny I can take it wherever I take my laptop. At this price I expect a little more like some OSD settings. Perhaps a gamma or brightness setting would have been useful to fill in the dark areas when projecting at large sizes. I know output would not be any brighter, but it would make images a bit more viewable. Other than that I am very very happy with my purchase.

This thing in cool!
Reviewed By: shadowsrage on 11/5/2009

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: This thing is great, I have used it camping and it worked great. It was really cool to watch a move in the woods. And at home, the room really does not have to be that dark to see it. If this thing ever stoped working I would have to buy another one.
Cons: There was only 2 things i did not like. One the sound, it was low but when you are in a really dark room watching a movie why would there be any other sound. Second is this thing will get hot. That is all i can think of.
Other Thoughts: It would be nice to have an option for headphones or to connect some speakers to it. That would be nice.
