5 out of 5 eggsCan ask for more for the price

Pros: High Lumens and contrast ratio for the price. Great pic quality when set up correctly. Purchased from another site.

Cons: For the price of the projector its hard to find anything bad. Very little screen door / rainbow effect at least for me. Again this is a $700 projector. If you want 0% screen door/rainbow purchase a $2K projector.

Other Thoughts: As for people saying the bulb puts out heat, yes its does and so does all other projectors. The bulb will put out heat around 100 to 130 degrees near fan. This is normal and not a defect. As for the fan being loud, if your seated next to the project, yea i can image you can hear it. I have mine mounted near the ceiling and fan on high and its barely noticeable. As I said before, for under $700 you cant go wrong with this model. Great pic and brightness. I have used this brand at home and at my work place conf rooms, other than replacing bulb, no real issues.

2 out of 5 eggsI would not purchase again

Pros: It has alot of featuresfeatures. The picture is average.

Cons: The fan is extremely loud. I can hear it over my stereo. Puts off a lot of heat.

Other Thoughts: I would purchase the hd37 . pass on the hd26, I wish I would have.

2 out of 5 eggsA Bright and Hot Rainbow

Pros: It's bright. very bright. I owned a 720p DLP projector before. I tend to tune the brightness of my display on very high setting, but for this projector I didn't have to. I was using it on ecco mode and its good enough which means more life into the lamp. It's surprisingly quiet. Most of the noise are from my computer.

Cons: It's hot. very hot. Put your hand near where the fan blows and you can feel your hand burning. Let's hope the inside doesn't explode before the lamp runs out. The throw distance for this projector is also horrible. To project a 120" screen, I have my projector 15 feet away. But these two complains are not the main reason I gave it a 2 stars. The main reason is the rainbow effect this projector give. Before, I didn't know what the rainbow effect is, but now I know. The rainbow effect is that bad on this projector.

Other Thoughts: I wrote a review for this projector but I forgot the most important reason why I gave it a low score. So this review is a rewrite. If you are sensitive to the rainbow effect and/or have a small room, stay far away from this projector.

3 out of 5 eggsWish I did more research

Pros: Um... it works and its a pretty nice picture but...

Cons: Seems to have problems on the refresh rate or fps when movie does rotation, as little as 180 deg. Haven't done the research yet to see if its fixable but I'd really prefer to take it out of the box, connect power and HDMI and enjoy, not mess around with it for days!

Other Thoughts: The fan is also quite noisy compared to other projectors I've owned or used.

5 out of 5 eggsWorking Great!

Pros: Good value

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: We bought this projector in a pinch for a major presentation and it was a good thing we did because the projector brought by our business partners failed at the 11th hour. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality image produced by this unit since we figured that at the price point we bought at, it might be less than stellar. But, no! Its great!

4 out of 5 eggsGreat projector

Pros: * I'm pleasantly surprised at the small size of the projector.
* I'm even more surprised at the image quality and brightness.
* 3D is absolutely amazing, and that's with DLP-Link glasses (haven't tried RF yet).
* Input lag is completely non-existent, it's awesome for games.
* Unlike earlier models, it now saves settings between presets.
* Good black levels and shadow detail for this price range.
* 1080p is a necessity in my opinion for screens larger than 100".
* MHL compatibility is nice for hooking up a smartphone or Chromecast/Roku stick.
* Includes lens cap and HDMI cable.
* Smooth motion, no jitter noticed.
* Cheap bulb replacement.
* Super quiet in Eco mode.
* Bright 3200 lumens is great for outdoor use and rooms with light.

Cons: * Color accuracy could be better, but I'm a photographer and have a critical eye.
* Whites can sometimes appear too bright.
* No 2D-to-3D conversion.
* Lacks motion interpolation.
* I detected some slight DLP "rainbow effects," but it was mild for me.
* Remote control sometimes seems unresponsive.
* I would have preferred a matte black plastic casing instead of glossy white.

Other Thoughts: You get more for less compared to competitors.
