3 out of 5 eggsGood one after MIR

Pros: Good quality for the price(after MIR); easy setup; very fast delivery

Cons: Just as many review mentioned, there would be slight flicker lines when "loading" pictures, web pages, or initiating apps

4 out of 5 eggsGood Monitor For A Great Price

Pros: 89.99 after MIR and FS so you cant beat the price for a monitor of this size. Looks good. I built a rig for uncle with this to replace his old system and a 15" crt so he is very impressed.

Cons: although not nearly as hard to set colors as others have let on it looked horrible before i spent th 5 or so miniutes to do so. Alos doesnt compare to the 40" 1080p lcd i have on my gaming/htpc/folding machine.

Other Thoughts: tried to get uncle to buy a 1080p 32in lcd as i have a freind who with discounts could get one for 345$ but he decided to have me build pc now with cheap monitor and at tax time get a tv. if you have the money buy a big lcd tv or even better yet big lcd monitor crysis/fallout3/gta4 are so much nicer when playing from the couch

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Good easy to set up monitor. Stand is firm and sturdy and the screen arrived with no dead pixels. Was easy to hook up and set up required attaching it to the computer, restarting and being blown away by my first DVI connected monitor. The splendid presets make it easy to adjust between watching a movie or playing a game without having to fiddle around with individual sliders for hue/contrast/brightness. The monitor replaced my CRT well and leaves my desk more open. colors in MS paint are more vibrant looking.

Cons: Screen refresh rate is only 60 hertz. I would've appreciated atleast 70.

Other Thoughts: Good product for the price i got it at, but if you're looking to go bigger and better, maybe a bigger size from the same manufacturer?

5 out of 5 eggs1st LCD and a good choice.

Pros: Extremely Bright, non-glossy finish makes for less ambient light reflection. Easy stand attachment, providing 3-4" height featuring tilt only. No dead/stuck pixels. Didn't notice any problems while FPS gaming.

Cons: You may need to adjust the red down as it seems to pop more than it should. I noticed a lack of contrast in the bright whites also, but it hasn't proven to be problematic. Menu navigation isn't as intuitive as expected but easy to adjust to.

Other Thoughts: First time LCD / Widescreen owner. Very satisfied with the quality of monitor. Using DVI with supplied cable, didn't test VGA. I like bright and I still had to lower the brightness as it's just too bright out of the box. NightView preset is useful.
Shipped in ASUS original packaging.

3 out of 5 eggsWooster, OH

Pros: Nice size and good to have vga and dvi for low cost.

Cons: Bright red stuck pixel in center of screen - doesn't fix with various software methods. Now that I know it's there, my eye is drawn to it. Would have given 5 stars if not for this. Haven't talked to Asus yet, but, even if they rma it, looks like they replace with refurbished, so, I'm wondering if I'll just live with the stuck pixel - only notice it on restart and tv watching, not with internet browsing and that's its major usage. No problems with Newegg.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent for 19 inch basic LCD screen

Cons: The unit I received has issues of slight flickering of text/images in the central 1-2 inch band. The rest of the screen had no such issue - may be dead pixels.

5 out of 5 eggsVery fine, especially at the price

Pros: First & foremost was NewEgg's customer service when something went wrong. UPS listed the monitor as having been delivered but it most certainly was not. NewEgg did all the right things. A new monitor was sent overnight at the one-time sale price (which had otherwise expired) and, when the original one mysteriously showed up on our doorstop a day and a half later, they had it picked up and credited.

The monitor itself is very good, as a zillion other reviewers have said.

It's essentially impossible to find a good-brand-name dual-input monitor (VGA & DVI) with this resolution and specs anywhere near this price.

Cons: Essentially no cons. It's tiltable but not height-adjustable, but can you really expect that at this price? (It also doesn't swivel, but we all know that's a high-end feature.) The speakers are OK but you can't expect high fidelity from any in-monitor speakers.

Other Thoughts: At the moment, this seems like one of the best buys I've ever seen on any computer product. Unless you're a graphic artist or something like that, I can't understand using a huge, heavy, electricity-sucking old CRT when you can have such a nice monitor at such a great price.

2 out of 5 eggsDecent cheap integrated speakers screen

Pros: Integrated speakers
Same native resolution as my macbook pro (1440x900)
(1)HDMI and (1)VGA input

Cons: Dead pixel out of the box, but that's just bad luck
Speakers are really quiet. Like quieter than my laptop's speakers 0.o
Menu is slow, unresponsive and lame
You have to use that lame menu if you want to switch between inputs, because apparently there are more important things for the dedicated buttons to do...

Other Thoughts: ...There is a dedicated button for changing display presets for 'Theatre' 'scenery' etc. but no button to select the input. Why do you hat us, ASUS?
