ASUS VW223B Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor with EzLink Technology 300 cd/m2 1000:1 (ASCR 3000:1)

Pros: Good brightness, fairly good angle of view for this class of monitor, super amazing USB connectivity and all at a very reasonable price. The displaylink tech works great with the mac OS. This screen is probably the best way to add another screen to a slot deficient machine like an iMac or laptop. Cheap enough that you can even splurge on a wall mount arm and still come under the next screen.

Cons: resolution not quite as good as my LG of a similar class but the USB more than makes up for that.

Other Thoughts: I'm a developer and the more screens the better. If you write code, this thing is pretty darn good but save something higher rez and better color corrected for your graphic work. Heck, might just pick another one of these up for doing cross-browser work (3 operating systems, 5 browsers, 3 screens).

Pros: - Great image on native resolution of 1680 x 1050.

Cons: - EZ-Link doesn't function too well.
- Does not handle media on the monitor that is connected via EZ-Link rather than directly to GPU.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these beauties and I have both connected to my ASUS 4850 GPU; yes I'm an ASUS fan. EZ-Link was working fine but sometimes when I unplugged one, disabled one, or shut off my PC the EZ-Link settings would be reset. I just didn't want to deal with it so instead of using 3 monitors, I just use two.

Just a note, one of my monitors is taller than the other. No idea why. messed with stand, tilting, and used a alignment tool and both are level, so it must be a height different. No idea why it's like this, slightly awkward when moving mouse from one screen to the other. Plan to get a multi-monitor ball join arm.

Pros: Clear Picture, USB Hub Switch between VGA and USB via menu. I use the VGA on my main machine and plug the USB into my laptop when I some more monitors. Unless you have a DVI monitor currently you won't notice the difference when use VGA. The USB is flawless for basic work applications and play videos rather well too.

Cons: Too Bright my eyes hurt for a while before I decided to turn down the brightness.

Pros: No dead pixels, screen is bright and crisp once its adjusted properly, The USB link is pretty clever if you need multiple monitors for a workstation and works very well. USB link will not run games. The analog cable must be used for playing games. 5ms response is respectable. Its also a very nice looking monitor to top it off.

Cons: No DVI input. The setup menu drives me nuts, and I mean really nuts.

Other Thoughts: That said the quality of ASUS monitors has prompted me to buy 5 of them to date for myself and others. Only one of this particular model though. The others were the ASUS VW224 and one VW193T. I will buy ASUS monitors again. No dead pixels on any of them.

Pros: Nice size. Pretty design. USB hub built in can be useful. Looks good. Not a single dead pixel.

Cons: A good bit of back light bleed. No DVI or HDMI. No height adjustment. Maybe not really a con, but I wish that the USB ports were on the right side instead of the left.

Other Thoughts: I got this during the black Friday sale. For the price it's hard to beat but there are obviously better monitors out there. However, I'm just using it for documents and the like so it doesn't really matter.

I now have two ASUS 22" monitors and it is wonderful.

Pros: You will find in life you get what you pay for.

Aside of that i feel this is a great deal for a dad like me buying for my daughter. I will give this to my little girl for her computer and she will love it and be very happy with it. but if i were buying for my son this would be a huge mistake. this is not a game players monitor this is a more standard office screen.

Great deal. Perfect for a normal daily user. Well made and cheap.

Cons: Not a Gamers monitor. This is not what your looking for if your buying for a game player.

No DVI. Analog only.

Other Thoughts: Gamers buy a better screen.

For regular work, surfing the net and watching movies your not going to find a better deal.

Pros: We bought two of these. Plug one USB cable into the other, then one USB cable into our laptop -- and poof! we get 2 additional huge monitors. Great for doing a lot at once. Easy to unplug & go, then replug when we get back.

Cons: Use latest drivers from displaylink.com

Pros: Great. Very easy on the eyes. Lots of customizable settings. Colors are sharp. Couldn't be any better for normal home use, some pics and vids

Pros: This product seamlessly integrates into your office environment. Set up was very easy. The image quality is exceptional on USB. Perfect for the office environment. There is no lag apparent.

Cons: May not be good for Gaming.

Pros: Ordinary LCD Panel

Cons: I wanted to add a monitor but the software's setting cannot be saved.(I use Nvidia graphic card and this is connected to laptop as a third monitor) So I have to change the setting always from mirror mode to expand mode. This is crazy
