Pros: Great color, bright and no dead pixels. The monitor is stylish and looks great on my desk. The color is excellent.. once fined tuned that is. Easy set up, easy controls.. Quality to price ratio is INSANE!! I also love the different display modes, which are all customizable. Switch to night mode where the brightness is low and comfortable, switch to movie mode where the colors pop and black is true black.. switch to DVI mode to see everything pixel perfect.
Package arrived 3 days after I ordered it and took about 10 mins to unpack and set up.
Cons: The stand. Not that big of a deal, but there is no way to raise the height. If it's that big of a concern.. order a new stand.
The stickers on the face of the display left some glue after I peeled em off. Had to bust out alcohol and cotton balls to remove. only a slight annoyance.
Other Thoughts: I've been a graphic designer for 18 years and this is by far the best color and detail I've had in a monitor. I've literally spent thousands of dollars on displays. And this monitor kills them all. Yes even Apples garbage. Don't waste your hard earned $$ on anything else. This is a great buy!

Pros: This monitor is absolutely astounding. I went from a 19" monitor to this, and couldn't be happier. 1080p playback quality is breathtaking! Windows Dreamscene is a perfect companion. Gaming through both the PC and my 360 are stunning. I've only had the thing a few days and I'm already noticing tiny details I've never seen in Portal and Halo. So many settings! UPS got it to me faster than expected, which is always a plus.
Cons: None so far. No dead pixels, no ghosting, no light bleed. The ONLY con was that it took me 5 minutes to get the picture the way I wanted in the menu. Ha... I don't even call that a con. Great job ASUS.
Other Thoughts: If you're the type who doesn't need a huge TV, get this monitor and plug in your HDMI from your cable and whatever output your monitor uses and you'll be hooked up with an amazing dual-use device.

Pros: Nice price. Shipped quick. No dead pixels
Cons: Sucks that i have to write "no dead pixels" as the Pro...the only other thing on the monitor that works is the VGA input. Neither the DVi or HDMI inputs see signal, and yet they send connection DCC to the Mobo. The only reason I purchased was for HDMI and DVI, so it's going back real quick. As an electronix QA professional by trade, I tried everything to make these inputs play ball. Nothing expect Blue screens and no sig".
I suggest going with a more reputable monitor company...ASUS, stick to mobo's...I own one and love it

Pros: Beautiful display. Looks excellent when it's working. Cheap price.
Cons: Everything else :( Bought this for the DVI/HDMI inputs to maintain a digital signal out of my 9800GT Nvidia card. Neither the HDMI or DVI iputs see a signal from the most common performance graphix card on the market...and on an ASUS Mobo.
I've tried everything under the sun to make these inputs play nice. the crazy part is that the PC sees the new monitor's signal as a selected dual screen in the Nvidia menu through DVI but can't recieve anything back.
I do electronix QA for a living and haven't met a problem I can't narrow down analytically. Perhaps ASUS would like to hire me to prevent faulty inputs from coming off the assembly rate at an alarming rate.
Other Thoughts: Failure rate according to forums is higher than I'd expect. Don't waste your time if you have the extra 50 to spend on a dependable monitor brand. (Stick to Mobos Asus)
