Pros: Great color, bright and no dead pixels. The monitor is stylish and looks great on my desk. The color is excellent.. once fined tuned that is. Easy set up, easy controls.. Quality to price ratio is INSANE!! I also love the different display modes, which are all customizable. Switch to night mode where the brightness is low and comfortable, switch to movie mode where the colors pop and black is true black.. switch to DVI mode to see everything pixel perfect.
Package arrived 3 days after I ordered it and took about 10 mins to unpack and set up.
Cons: The stand. Not that big of a deal, but there is no way to raise the height. If it's that big of a concern.. order a new stand.
The stickers on the face of the display left some glue after I peeled em off. Had to bust out alcohol and cotton balls to remove. only a slight annoyance.
Other Thoughts: I've been a graphic designer for 18 years and this is by far the best color and detail I've had in a monitor. I've literally spent thousands of dollars on displays. And this monitor kills them all. Yes even Apples garbage. Don't waste your hard earned $$ on anything else. This is a great buy!

Pros: This monitor is absolutely astounding. I went from a 19" monitor to this, and couldn't be happier. 1080p playback quality is breathtaking! Windows Dreamscene is a perfect companion. Gaming through both the PC and my 360 are stunning. I've only had the thing a few days and I'm already noticing tiny details I've never seen in Portal and Halo. So many settings! UPS got it to me faster than expected, which is always a plus.
Cons: None so far. No dead pixels, no ghosting, no light bleed. The ONLY con was that it took me 5 minutes to get the picture the way I wanted in the menu. Ha... I don't even call that a con. Great job ASUS.
Other Thoughts: If you're the type who doesn't need a huge TV, get this monitor and plug in your HDMI from your cable and whatever output your monitor uses and you'll be hooked up with an amazing dual-use device.

Cons: Speakers are poor quality, but 1 - these are built in, 2 - I have separate set, 3 - for office use they OK (they produce sound - all that matters)
Other Thoughts: I don't like glossy piano finish, but this is the way all the things are done now so I have to pass.

Pros: Awesome bright screen. I have duals setup with about 2 inches on each side of my desk to spare. Detail is clear and crisp. No dead pixels that I have been able to find (feels like looking for a person in a satellite image)
Sounds is better then I thought it would. Speakers are facing the back.
Cons: The stand is really weak and a bit wobbly. Nothing like the solid stands of other brands. Bump the desk and it jiggles a bit.
Doesn't pivot, plugging and unplugging is a but tough.
Other Thoughts: I had my eye on this monitor for a long time. Went on sale right after I bought it! The issue of it shaking isnt that big a deal, I don't really knock the desk around that much.

Pros: For this price point you wont find a better monitor. I've had the 23" asus and now the 24" I will keep using them.
Cons: Under each I have a box.. it sits only 6 inches off the desk.
