Cons: None, other than the fact that the power cable is a little loose so if you accidentally nudge the monitor it may fall out. Other Thoughts: I use it with my PS3 and I have no complaints. Cons: Huge static issue. I have no idea why but every 5 minutes it gets static-y. I've changed the power cord and the HDMI cord 3 times and it just doesn't work out. Maybe I have a loose connection. Everything just gets light and blue. Other Thoughts: Great monitor if It wasn't so static-y. Sorry for the late review. My Graphics Card came dead on arrival. Did you find this review helpful? I've had it for 9 months without any dead pixels or problems. It's great for the price. Cons: Stand is not very sturdy and when typing the monitor shakes. I brace it with my stapler. Poor technical service from ASUS Other Thoughts: I've owned the monitor since January, 2009 (purchased 12/31/2008) and it was a really good monitor, not excellent but good, until it died about three weeks ago. I turned it off and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't, and it hasn't since. I called ASUS and they weren't very helpful, but I am going to try again and see if I can get it replaced. I also own a VW246H, and if you're going to pick an ASUS monitor, I would pick that one, or one from the VW line over the VH line. The VW246H has better controls, and an overall better build quality than the VH222H. I originally purchased the item to be the secondary monitor, but it quickly became my primary since the colors were amazing. The ports are easy to get to and its not a struggle having to connect everything. It also came with alot of wires for hooking up pretty much anything. Cons: None for me (although I have never used the sound) Other Thoughts: I have used Asus in the past for motherboards and the like, wasnt even aware they made monitors, and am very happy with my purchase (newegg shipped fast as always) Did you find this review helpful? mff1 9/12/2010 4:22:16 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 5/5Beautiful, versatile Pros: Aside from looking all around great (good contrast ratio, fast response time, decent viewing angle, very bright backlight if you need it), this is one of the most versatile monitors around. With DVI, HDMI, and VGA, I rarely need any video converters. Audio quality is kinda poor, but it is difficult to find a monitor with any speakers at all. Cons: Speakers are hidden at the top back of the monitor, facing up and away, so sound ends up muffled and frequency range is poor. Not that big a deal. Other Thoughts: Light and easy to transport, variety of inputs, and built in speakers make this a dream for LAN parties. Did you find this review helpful? Having them side by side and dragging google chrome in between them is astounding. The acer is so dull and grey compared to the Asus. Highly recommended for 160$ with free shipping. You "might" be able to beat that deal but the odds are against you. Much better resolution and features. 1680x1050 to 1920x1080 on less screen makes a world of difference. I have noticed more things in common games than in the past 4 or 5 months. Cons: Makes me regret spending 160 for a half an inch more screen 6 months ago. Other Thoughts: Ordered sunday, figured it would be up to portland teusday, local routing center wednesday and out for delivery. Apparently it takes 2 days to drive from california to portland.
