Pros: Bought this monitor just because of its low price + FREE shipping!
ASUS aint that bad on LCD monitors, right? Hope not...

Anyway, it is 10x brighter than my old 19" CRT Monitor. I used to set the contrast and brightness on my desktop color settings to 100 + 100 my CRT's contrast and brightness in order for me to see right on Left 4 Dead(game's brightness is maxed too).
But for this new monitor?!
Contrast and brightness on desktop color settings are both set to 50, 20 for both contrast and brightness on my LCD and still, I can see better than my old CRT monitor!

Built-in camera? I didnt even know that this monitor comes with it until i opened the box!
LOL! Wasnt really paying attention to its specs that time when i was checking this monitor out.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Could save more energy using these LCD monitors than CRT monitors.

Pros: Superbright, very crystal clear. The power button is where it should be, facing the user, and it even has a blue LED so you know it's on. The buttons themselves have a solid feel to them, very nice! Uses Dsub, the "blue" graphic connector for those unfamiliar with connectors. It also has usb and all the connectors you'll need for the monitor also, including the cd driver for the cam. The only thing missing is a dvi connector. The base snaps firmly together, with a reassuring "click". Some i've seen are quite wobbly, including the monitor this one replaced. The monitor itself is very stable, so the occasional knocking of the puter table won't send the monitor crashing down. The panel tilts from straight up and down, to a good upward angle. The exterior is a very nice shiny black, none of that matte black stuff common on so many, including the stand. The monitor almost instantly adjusts to new settings. I simply can't say enough about this monitor.....buy it, buy it, buy it!!

Cons: Not the fault of Asus, I blame UPS for this. It arrived with a gaping 1.5 x 2 inch hole in the box. I was expecting the panel to be dead when i opened it with such a hole in the box, but fortunately it was not. The hole was where the manual, cables ect was..which is still concerning since something could have worked it way out. However, all was good. Only 2 things I can say bad. One, the monitor is a bit stiff, at least at first I suspect, so u'll have to use a little bit of force to get it tilted to how you want it. I suspect it'll loosen up over time, no worries. The only other thing I can whine about is the plastic "tape" that protects the sides of the panel itself. It can be a little hard to remove..have your girlfriend/wife peel it off if she has nails lol!!

Other Thoughts: none, great monitor for 109 with free shipping. Can't beat it!
