Pros: This monitor was my introduction to wide screen HD, and it was quite the extraordinary change. Does widescreen video or gaming crisply, and I experienced no dead pixels or other problems. The Glossy Black in the title is VERY glossy and black.

Cons: Unfortunately, that same Glossy Black makes dust show up on it very easily (I live in a dusty house). It scratches quite easily as well - I found this out the hard way after my keyboard accidentally ran up on it's base a few times. Oh well, the more you know...

Other Thoughts: My computer came with a faulty DVI port, forcing me to use this on VGA for some time now. On VGA, blurry vertical lines appear across the screen, where the image simply isn't as sharp - making reading of any length eyewatering, and frustrating whilst doing fine photo manipulation. Moral of the story... make sure you can use it on DVI. Also, I never tried the speakers, so I can't... heh... speak for them.

Pros: Easy setup, nice picture quality, watched part of Avatar on it and was clear and bright

Cons: a minor one: buttons are not clearly marked and a little confusing, easily overcome with a little practice
speakers are in back - sounds tinny (but I didn't get it for speakers, not a problem)

Pros: built in speakers, customizable display settings

Cons: button completely broke when I wanted to change profiles. I like to have different profiles for gaming and normal use. There's no point in having multiple profiles if you can't select them.

Other Thoughts: buttons seem cheaply made, big disappointment. Had the monitor 2 months before it broke.

Pros: Very good for the price.

Cons: Excellent.

Pros: Its an LCD monitor. It has 0 dead pixels. It has a tilt adjustment, the screen has a matte finish. Controls are easy to access and offer basic settings tweaks. I like it because it isn't flashy, doesn't have an outrageous border around the screen, works flawlessly, and looks great.

Cons: Not HD. Not LED Backlit (but what do you expect for $130?) built in speakers are terrible (of course), casing has a glossy finish which i don't really like but that's just personal preference.

Other Thoughts: Good monitor for the money. I got one of these when i built my tower and it seems to work fine. I wish i had stepped up to a 21" or 23" especially something that is HD and maybe LED backlit, but at the same time if you want more real estate then get 2 of these :)

Pros: Monitor worked great for a little bit.

Cons: About a month after i have been using the monitor. (Conveniently after the standard return policy.) The monitor kept making a constant clicking noise, very annoying. I can guarantee the noise originated from the monitor and not my hard drive. Tried everything possible to fix it. Tried to talk to Asus live chat support and the employee disconnected from chat as soon as i told him my problem. Called Asus support and the only thing they did was blame it on everyone but them. Avoid buying any Asus product. It seems to me that the quality of the monitor is poorly manufactured, and now I'm stuck with it.

Pros: The picture is sharp and bright. Color/contrast is good - but I haven't watched any movies/3D games on it yet. Glossy frame looks nice. The Power LED is not too bright :) (and is blue).
No dead pixels

Cons: The frame may be a bit think (19mm on the sides), but doesn't bother me.

Other Thoughts: I have not used the menu system, the auto-adjust works great. I also have not tried the speakers.

I have it as an external monitor using the ATI Mobility Radeon X300 (mobile) graphics card, the native resolution is supported (using VGA)

I will order a second one soon.

Pros: Great color balance and contrast ratio. Preset setting for movies/gaming/etc. 5 in all. Plus as much custom picture control you could ask for. My wife works at a photo studio and this screen is more reliable for true color than the plasmas at her work. I use it for gaming and LOVE it.

Cons: Built in speakers are sub-par but thats to be expected I guess. Also the menu can be a little tricky to navigate because of the button dual usage.

Other Thoughts: Great buy. No buyers remorse here, at all.

Pros: Great cheap monitor. Very little to no bleed. Colors or good enough for just about anything.

Cons: odd dimensions

Other Thoughts: I bought 11 of the for my company and only had to return one with problems.

Pros: Works great, no dead pixels. Big screen, watching movies and this feels great.

Cons: The audio isn't all that great/loud, but still works good if you have nothing better.

Other Thoughts: Very, very happy! No dead pixels! It even worked on my old Windows XP before I received my new PC like a pro without any special drivers.
