Cons: the speakers SUCK!!!!!..... its a good thing that's not one of the reasons i bought them..... i mean they aim up and back.... they are so weak and terrible, i don't even bother to use them (not that i would anyway) Other Thoughts: The only reason it lost a star is because i have to take one for the speakers..... but honestly this is one kick @** monitor.... its truly beautiful. My old HPw1707 sounds better. BUT, if you use it in conjunction with a sub-par sound system (2.1+ Old Monitor + This Monitor) It actually adds a pretty nice touch. Alone, not so much... Other Thoughts: Even though the speakers are of poor quality, I highly recommend this Monitor. Sporadic red pixel on screen (possible dead pixel?) Other Thoughts: Seems to have an intermittent buzz to it, regardless of whether or not the audio cable is connected or not. Comes and goes, but it pretty noticeable when it's happening. Appears that the buzz is actually coming from the monitor/display, having nothing to do with the audio/speakers. Cons: - Nothing yet. - For some, the widescreen format may be a drawback. Other Thoughts: Very easy to set up, looks great without any apparent problems. Didn't have to adjust any of the color/brightness/contrast settings, the defaults were perfectly fine. Lower res than I originally wanted, but for the price (Sale $99.99 instead of orig $149.99) you can't beat it. Considering the other models out there, I wouldn't have payed full price for it.
