Can an xbox 360 be plugged into this monitor?

Well, it doesn't have an HDMI port, so if you did that, you'd have to use an HDMI-DVI cable. I don't know if you'll get sound if you do that.  This monitor probably wouldn't be useful for connecting to an Xbox.

Yes, very easily. All you need is a VESA mount to connect to the back of the monitor. From there you have lots of options for wall mounts or stands.

What's the ACTUAL contrast ratio? 10,000:1 is preposterous, bordering on impossible.

10,000:1 contrast ratio is a very common ratio for these DCR monitors. Contrast ratios are simply the difference between the darkest blacks and the brightest whites.

The screen is great for gaming only when the shades are bright. If your going to play a game that is dark the screen will be all black if you have a little glare on the screen.

Yes.  It has 2 1 watt speakers.  If you are looking or real sound you would be better of getting actual PC speakers.
