Asus VW199T-P Black 19" 5ms LED BackLight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 10,000,000:1

Pros: Good monitor, bright and crisp

Cons: First one I received had no backlighting in upper corner so it came prebroken from the factory. New egg was good about replacing it....but it cost me $23 to ship it back.....Made a $100 good deal into a $123 mediocre deal.

Pros: Bought two VW199T-P. I am running them dual side by side hook to an older 486 computer with a high end AMD graphics card and windows seven operating system. The two Asus LDC monitors just plan blow away the other three other LCD Monitor that I own from another manufacture.

Cons: Have no cons.

Pros: ASCR setting works great, used for gaming with no ghosting, decent sized monitor with good response time for the money, have experienced no ghosting during gameplay, LED back-lit for better energy consumption

Pros: I needed a new monitor for the computer we were building. We wanted to use the same 1440 x 900 resolution from the old monitor in order to maximize the use of my video card (GTX 285), which is starting to get old.

However, my old monitor is blown out of the water by this thing. It's incredibly sharp and clear. Everyone in the house who saw the old monitor first hand and then saw this remarked how clear it was.

For this resolution this is the maximum screen size they make, I think.

This monitor is so easy to adjust as well but it stays put after adjusting too.

Cons: The built-in speakers are incredibly hollow but I didn't expect them to be that great. For voice and OS sounds it's perfectly fine. If you want to play music on these I'd suggest you just buy some speakers as well.

Pros: This thing is bright! Colors are very vivid. Movies look great, Games look better. Solid purchase.

Pros: I have two of these monitors. One has been in daily use for 20 months with zero problem. Second is 4 months old also with zero problem.
Screen quality is very good. Good colors and crisp text. 1440 resolution with 19" size is ideal for general use (web and office apps).

Cons: Sound is not the greatest, but is understandable given their small size.
Front panel controls are not intuitive and rather cumbersome to use.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend for daily use.

Pros: Nicely sized, great resolution and color.

Cons: Speakers aren't amazing, but that was expected.

Other Thoughts: I use this to extend the desktop of my 15" notebook, and it is a welcomed addition to my desk.

Pros: What can I say about this monitor... Crystal clear picture, more than decent built in speakers, price is right w/ free shipping, 10,000,000:1 contrast ratio, no broken pixels, solid stand. It's also bright as hell, which I enjoy.

Cons: None. Buy it.

Other Thoughts: Not used to anything bigger than a 14 inch laptop screen... This took me by surprise though. Hardly fits on my desk. Shipping was quick. No issues whatsoever. Buy it.
