Pros: Great colors, been moved around a lot, no dead pixels, good blacks.

Cons: Games under 60fps with 60hz monitors will experience tearing. I do not know if newer monitors fix this.

Other Thoughts: I purchased it seven years ago for $200ish and it is a great buy! I am only going to upgrade if those free-sync monitors drop in price.

Pros: Speakers Built in (also sound nice)

I cant tell the difference between 1MS and 2MS and I do some hardcore gaming and im a huge stickler for any type of lag including screen lag.

Cons: stand is not adjustable.

Pros: I have one of these monitors I ordered some time ago, it works very well. You will have to make changes to the settings when you receive one of these, the brightness is set to 100% and way too bright. There are other changes to the settings that will have to made also.

Cons: Most of the OSD settings don't work. i have tried some troubleshooting suggested by the manufacturer that was unsuccessful. I could live without some of them but skin tone and sharpness are two that I have to have so I can match it to the other monitor.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this monitor, I just received a bad one.
Newegg is making the replacement of this monitor pretty easy.

UPDATE: 3/5/16
I have sent in the defective monitor and have received a new replacement. The replacement is fully functional and as good as the first asus monitor (same model) I brought a few years ago.
The RMA process was as painless as possible. I had waited some time to see if the monitor problem would work itself out and a couple things took my attention away from it for a while. But the replacement process went so smoothly was done in a such quick manner that I still had time to get my rebate paperwork sent in with days before the deadline.
This is why I shop at Newegg and have done so for many years.

Cons: Due to the cheap products in the monitor it makes a very loud high pitched noise that you cannot miss. My worst mistake was buying a product from Asus and I researched this problem and they do this with all their products. I tried contacting Asus and it's near impossible to get a replacement. They do not return your emails when you provide all necessary info asking for a replacement

Other Thoughts: Do not buy. I made this mistake but it's not too late for you

Pros: -Excellent, crisp images
-Fast refresh rate, games look great.
-LED backlit
-Fantastic value

Cons: -The pixel grid on this screen is a just tiny bit larger than the previous generation, which is not a huge deal, but the pixels are larger, and can be seen by the eye, not a deal breaker though, especially if your video card is strong enough to use FXAA in games you want to play. Would like to see ASUS work on this, and this will be a fantastic bargain, but is good as is.
- VERY Bright, you will use the brightness settings
-Clunky, poorly designed menu interface

Other Thoughts: This is what I would get if I had to get a monitor under $200 (This is what I did get)

Pros: This display was easy to setup and visual experience is good would recommend this monitor and other people complain about the rebate but rebate was approved within 10 days and waiting for the debit card to arrive in the mail.

Cons: None at this time.

Pros: basic color are great,all you need (vga,dvi,hdmi,speaker) and the speaker are correct and enough loud

Cons: nothing sepcial... it look like a very good monitor

Other Thoughts: the power button is a little bit hard to press...nothing impossible but its the only 'cons' i've found

Pros: Plugged them in and they just work. Not exactly cheap, but middle of the road office price. Display is very usable with Windows 10 Enterprise and Linux MINT/MATE 7.3.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Sharp picture, solid construction, proven product line.

Cons: Speakers are very weak; I use headphones so not an issue. And on-screen adjustments are a pain, but only need to be done at setup.

Other Thoughts: This monitor is replacing a VH222 that's been in service since 2010. The VH222 is still going strong, no dead pixels after 6 years of daily use, and now stored away as backup. This one is looking even better.

Pros: big, has speakers

Cons: non for me

Other Thoughts: I love this monitor,its way bigger than what I had and it was 10 percent off.
The radeon crimson sofware really help me with optimizing games and monitor setting,.Games look really good like skyrim
