ASUS VW246H Glossy Black 24" 2ms(GTG) HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ASCR 20000:1 (1000:1) Built-in Speakers

Pros: great picture quality. one each of the inputs i needed. built in speakers that ill admit are not the greatest but i use them for my secondary pc when i need to hear a youtube video or check that the audio works for a file. 24" and just the right size for eyefinity.

Cons: the only con i can think of is i have had my main monitor for a couple years now which i bought from newegg for $200. the menu on my older one and my left one that i recently purchased are the same but the left monitor menu is different and made it a little difficult to get picture quality the same on all three. i got it though so not taking an egg off for that.

Other Thoughts: the coolest thing ever happened as i was typing this. i have three of these for my eyefinity setup and duh if i use a splitter i can connect the speakers of the left and right monitor to my secondary pc and have somewhat surround lol. word of advise to my homies above. anytime you buy something refurbished or re-certified buy the extended warranty. i was very happy to see these at this price and after 8 years of dreaming about using three monitors to play games and work i finally did it. my toxic 5850 is handling this very well and get around 80 fps in world of warplanes. thanks newegg for making my dreams come true. now if you could make my wife understand and make her stop with the dirty looks when she walks by that would be great.

Pros: Stunning picture while it worked

Cons: After 1 day, the screen developed vertical pink lines across 1/3 of the screen. Now I either need to return it to Newegg or get Asus to fix it.

Pros: Great looking screen.

Cons: Defective on arrival. Giant yellow vertical line on right 1/3 of screen. Clearly a dead row of pixels or some major defect. Clearly re-certified means nothing but a return being resold.

Other Thoughts: Clearly this monitor was not re certified. It appears to be an RMA that was resold before being checked.

Pros: It looks nice...

Cons: Monitor was defective on arrival. It would power on, emit buzzing from the speakers and then shut off.

Other Thoughts: I tried it with the VGA and HDMI connections and had the same results with a large variety of devices connected to it. Power on, displaying the correct picture and speakers buzzing, and then shut off. The light on the monitor stayed blue like it was still on, and did not go to the yellow "standby" mode, but no image was displayed.
A little upset that I am responsible for return shipping of large and heavy item.
