Pros: It works fine.

Cons: It does not have a auto set-up. Must go into the laptop settings to set it up porperly.

Other Thoughts: Don't expect to get your rebate. I called Newegg and they did nothing. I've been a very long time customer but will never order another ASUS product with a rebate. They just wouldn't honor it.

Pros: Its huge, its colorful, and its worth every penny

Cons: Non-flexable stand, oh well.

Pros: I like the adjustible stand. The cableing provided a hdmi and normal pin type. All cable slid into their slots easily and didnt jiggle or feel loose.The the controls attenuation of the picture is great and has excellent rage from hi to low. I am confident this unit is very sturdy. This monitor is an easier read than the one that I used before. Resolution and the high end is perfect. a great monitor with clear Image quality , easy menu for configuring your colors an brightness is a plus. Love the color reproduction on this monitor and the and the 2ms response time is really good. Oh almost forgot i scoured for dead pixels and amazingly I found none! In a few words: excellent quality, easy to setup, sturdy, for a great price

Cons: this is the only con probably not a real con but it would have been nice if the unit came packaged with a sample cleaner and wipe.

Other Thoughts: I'd recommend this unit to my blind mother(sorry don't have a blind mother) but sure I recommend
I was not sure about ASUS VS248H monitors but i am now. And yes I'm going to buy another ASUS monitor most likely ASUSVE Series VE278Q.

Pros: -value priced
-You do get a lot for your money
-Its ASUS, wanted to match my ASUS G20CB gaming desktop

Cons: -Monitors are hit or miss with dead pixels and hot pixels, I unfortunately received a unit that had a hot pixel (stuck on white) and a dead pixel (stuck on black) right out of the box. Once you see the bad pixels, you can't un-see them.
-Sending back for refundand got the ASUS VG248QE, much much better monitor for only $100 more, and 144hz is truly amazing if you have a rig that can pump out FPS.

Other Thoughts: -I recommend skipping this monitor if you're going to do any gaming and go for the ASUS VG248QE

Pros: I bought this in 2013 it has been a great monitor an has a great Image quality easy menu for configuring your colors an brightness also

Cons: none

Pros: better color than my 27" asus and still rocking with no flaws no dead pixels no issues

Cons: none

Pros: Bought a pair of these to improve my dual monitor setup. Good color and response rate.

Cons: No cons

Other Thoughts: One of the monitors has a dead pixel I didn't notice until a week or so after I had been using them. Doesn't bother me too much.

Pros: I've been using 2 of these for over 2 years now. The are wonderful monitors.

Pros: Monitor has been great and handles anything I throw at it. From CAD, HD video, and high speed gaming it never misses a move or ghosts. Just too bad that the rebate got denied from a supposedly illegible invoice.

Cons: Kind of funny to me that it was denied for that reason when they scanned everything and is available for you to download and read what you sent them. It is there and I can see it quite clearly on my screen so what is the problem? O well at least it was only $20 I lost on the rebate. But it is still very annoying when you send in everything that is required and they still won't honor the rebate.

Other Thoughts: Maybe it should do my homework for me or shoot a laser to play with my cats
