Pros: screen is very clear and has great contrast. Great size for gaming and just online use.

Cons: when i type really fast or move my mouse hard the monitor wiggles, i tried to adjust it by screwing the bottom as far it would go, then i also tried to tighten the screws that actually holds the monitor but no help. if someone can help that would be great. also could anyone recommend a stand for this monitor that would work? like some kind of mount.

Pros: This monitor is the best one I have ever owned I use on my gaming rig and have never had any problems wonderful color contrast this coming from a colorblind person and the response time is not even noticeable

Pros: Clear and vibrant display. No dead pixels. Passing sound through HDMI is great; I have one less wire to connect to my laptop.

Pros: I previously bought a famed "IPS Panel" from different companies because I was trying to find the right setup for Eyefinity. IPS panels honestly do not impress me. They do not get near the crisp, BRIGHT, colorful, beautifully contrasted images that NICE LCD screens get. ASUS really "outdid" themselves with this monitor. Starting from opening the box, the monitor was intact and not broken. It was carefully taped to not get scratched on it's journey. Asus gladly supplied, unlike some, a VGA and a DVI cable. About the power cable, ASUS is not trying to make proprietary connectors that wrong the end user when they break, and instead use a openly used 3-prong power cable that any one can get almost anywhere besides the manufacturer. Bravo! The way the monitor is bracketed to the base like a laptop made me wonder why all monitors are not like that. It adds more stability when gaming and is nicer to remove compared to plastic clips that potentially break when you want to mount a monitor. Down to the screw that ASUS chose to mount the base to the monitor...Bravo. It has a clip so that you can screw in the screw so that if you ever took it to a LAN party/tournament you can easily (without tools) take apart the monitor. Thank you ASUS. Two more things. The buttons are physical so I not only know when I am making changes but I can make those changes quickly without worrying about hitting the button. And no, the buttons do not take away from the beautiful, majestic screen. Lastly... the monitor is so light (as in weight) that I will not mind packing it up and taking to events. Thank you ASUS, your team did an amazing job on this monitor..... Now you thought this was over, but it isn't... The reponse rate is nothing short than absolutely perfect. Every game, video, and every other monitor related experience is bliss. Aaaaaannnnddddd I did not even have to calibrate the screen as the profiles on the monitor were programmed beautifully. Alright I think I fully explained my complete gratitude for this monitor and just to let you know I will be buying another one. Bravo.

Other Thoughts: it is slightly confusing to find the on and off button and there was even another reviewer who couldn't figure out how to turn it on and thought it was broken. Otherwise I have no complaints about this monitor

Thank you for selecting the VS238H-P model. To adjust the stand, please refer to page 2-1 of your monitor’s user guide: “2.1 Detaching the arm/base (for VESA wall mount)” the diagrams show how to adjust (tighten) the arm’s screws on the back. You may also want to consider VESA wall or desk mounting kit since this monitor is on the slimmer side compared to an average flat-panel. Pros: Picture quality is great.
No problems with reliability.
Has analog audio out if you use HDMI

Cons: Color out of the box is off, not hard to fix
When HDMI is off the screen turns a bright blue for a few seconds, not big deal but if your pc turns off the monitor at night you get a flash of light

Pros: Large screen
Good resolution
Easy to mount on a multi monitor stand

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: I've had this for about a year now, and it's performed great. It's seen a bit of abuse as well, and is still working flawlessly. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
