Pros: It looks fantastic. I haven't had much experience with IPS, but this LED screen is a huge step up, in my opinion, from LCD. The price at the time of purchase was also pretty good. The most important part, however, is the excellent refresh rate. I haven't seen any ghosting what so ever.

Cons: After about 6 months, while playing Mass Effect 3, my monitor developed a stuck pixel. It is red and towards the side. No matter how many "pixel stimulators" or rubbing I do it refuses to be unstuck. It is pretty disappointing since my previous monitor lasted about 5 years before dying. I was hoping to get at least half of that life out of this one. I will probably just deal with it for now, although most darker games are kind of irritating to play.

Other Thoughts: I cannot wait for us to move past this 1080p craze. I would actually have something good to say about Apple if they are able to pull that one off. I originally wanted a 16:10 1920x1200 but they were just too much money at the time and their set of features were uninspiring since they haven't been updated in forever.

Pros: Great monitor.

Cons: Had a dead pixel upon arrival, tried to contact Asus for an RMA and they said "one dead pixel is not covered under our warranty."

Very disappointed in ASUS for this.

Pros: Very good monitor, nothing wrong with it so far. Exactly as stated specs.

Cons: The only thing is the screen is shaky. So lets say you jump in your room it will shake if you don't have a sturdy desk. Kinda annoying but its one small flaw.

Pros: Well when I first plugged it in it looked great, I fiddled with the presets to get the degree of color i wanted. Its big and bright.

Cons: After 2 weeks of occasional use it developed a blue stuck pixel just to the left of the middle of the screen. Its horrible. I just find myself staring at it rather than looking at whatever is on the monitor.

Other Thoughts: I was nice while it lasted but it sucks that I got a bad one. I would not recommend this product..primarily because I can't return it for another one since it only has one stuck pixel...

Pros: Been enjoying this Asus LCD monitor. Finally upgraded to a widescreen LCD after using 4:3 ratio CRT for years. After some personal adjustments between the LCD settings and Nvidia control panel, was able to get the look that I wanted.

Games like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, The Witcher 2, Oblivion with tons of mods, GTA IV with a few visual mods, etc. have been beautiful looking.

Cons: Does have a glow around the perimeter about 1/8", maybe caused by the LED Backlight? not sure. Not really noticeable when gaming or streaming videos.

Other Thoughts: Needed some manual adjustments and tweaking to get the look that I wanted. But I enjoy doing that with all Pc hardware.

Pros: Nice colors and image after adjustment. Cheap

Cons: Takes some adjustments to get best picture. Stand is not the best.

Pros: Nice monitor, better than all the monitor I got at the job and at home. Like the colors, really crisp, nice contrast. No dead pixels. I did not find it to be as bright as some people say, I had to only put the brightness to 80. Overall I am very happy with this monitor.

Cons: I gave it 4 eggs because of the weak stand (as other people here said). If I bump even lightly into my desk I can see the monitor shaking for 2-3 seconds. But that is not a big deal and may not be an issue for a lot of people.

Other Thoughts: I paid 169$ + free shipping for this LCD. To me it's really a good deal.
Also I cannot comment on the durability since I only got it for a week. There is also a little bit of Backlight bleeding / non-uniformity but I think this is common to every LCD (My TVs, old LCD, job's LCD all suffers from that to varying degrees).

Pros: Great size for the price, very thin and good looking.
Plenty of settings that are easy to change.

Cons: None at all, don't listen to all the people saying the colors are terrible or that it looks bad. It does take maybe 5 minutes of fiddling around with it before it looks how you want it to. I found the the default settings were all kinda weird.

Other Thoughts: DOESN'T come with an HDMI cable if that's what you're planning to use.

Pros: Great price for a 23", but still can't compare to the Viewsonic VX2453MH that I got at somewhere else a few months ago, at the same price.

Cords are well equipped.

You pay for what you get.

Cons: 1. Bad stand, shaky, not stable when adjusting the settings at the lower right corner of the monitor.
2. Bad position for setting buttons.
3. Not very good color, tends to be a bit blue and gray. Tried a whole day to adjust the color as close as to my other monitor, ended up with a sore wrist and giving up. Weird contrast setting, the white is kinda gray, no matter under what options or how high do I change the contrast, brightness or manual color setting, its white color always appears to be a little blue & grayish in contrast with my viewsonic.

Other Thoughts: Should've purchased two Viewsonics when it was on sale...

Always knew Asus was not "very good" at making mobos, but didn't know they are not good at making monitors either. I would give a second thought before I decide to purchase any other Asus products in the future.
