Pros: I bought two of these monitors for my wife since she is back in school and dual monitors makes multitasking so much easier. They shipped quickly and arrived in only a couple of days. They have a great picture for what she is using it for. I have not tested with games or videos since they will not be used for either. For a cheap and good looking ASUS monitor these probably can't be beat. I saw some reviews saying the stands were wobbly but i put mine on a Vivo STAND-V002 Dual LCD Monitor Desk Mount Stand Adjustable, Fits 2 Screens 13"-27 I bought off Newegg for $50 and they fit on it perfectly so I had no issues with the stands. It is nice that the stand was easy to remove and there is a back piece that fits over where the stand goes so it you have a desk facing out and the monitor is mounted, people wont see a gaping hole.

Cons: The only cons I have for these (and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars) is that they only have VGA and DVI inputs. The new computer my wife got only had a VGA and an HDMI output, so I had to get a conversion cable. Not a huge deal, but I did not expect an LED/LCD monitor to come without an HDMI input.

Other Thoughts: I got these on sale, so I'm happy with the price I paid since they really are great monitors. I think even at full price it is worth the money.

Pros: Monitor price is great. I love the settings on the monitor.

Cons: The stand is indeed a little wobbly. Especially on my wobbly table.

Pros: tilt angle range is huge, brightness is superb, refresh rate is better than my old acer 193w monitor

Other Thoughts: When these monitors arrive without damage, they are great and I highly recommend them; however, I've had 2 out of 5 arrive with dead pixels. Newegg always takes care of me and RMAs them without question and I continue to purchase these, but I do so with the possibility that they will come damaged in the back of mind.

Pros: First, I should state that I didn't buy this from NewEgg, but instead a local electronics dealer that matched NewEgg's price. I'm terrified of ordering monitors online. The more times it gets shipped, the higher the chance of defects on arrival. That being said, the monitor I got had no defects whatsoever upon installation. No dead pixels or other display problems. Very good color, decent contrast, many presets, very bright and VERY sharp. Attractive bezel, as well. As the display itself goes, I mostly have no issues at all. Very high quality display for very little money.

Cons: The monitor isn't perfect, however. The viewing angles are little underwhelming, such that if you're looking straight at the monitor, there is some slight discoloration in the very corners, just because of the change in viewing angle from the center to the corners. But, that being said, it is slight, and only noticeable when viewing white pages. So, bearing in mind this monitor's price and target use, that's perfectly acceptable. But I have also experienced problems that other reviewers have had, as well, like the wobbly stand and loose power cord. The stand is indeed wobbly, such that if I type vigorously enough, the monitor could very well jiggle a little bit. While it doesn't happen often, it could, and it is something to expect with this monitor. And the power cord is also quite loose, as others have stated, as well. I've tested it with various cords, and it is a property of the port as opposed to the cord. And it's not very susceptible to horizontal movement, but really quite susceptible to vertical movement. I haven't had any problems with it wiggling itself so loose that the monitor loses power, but I also don't adjust it frequently. If you find yourself tilting your monitors often, then this could very well be an issue for you

Other Thoughts: Something to consider about this monitor is that the cables plug straight into the back of the monitor, as opposed to the connections being angled downward so that the cables dangle immediately down from the monitor. So, this being flush against a wall isn't very possible. Not a matter for me, but it might be for some. All in all, though, this is a very good monitor for the price. It does have some minor finishing niggles, but I feel like those were done as cost-saving measures so that they could improve the quality of the display itself while maintaining this price point. And for the cost, I really can't pinpoint anything about the display I would want improved. Just a very good basic monitor. You do get what you pay for in some areas, but I'm glad they sacrificed some quality in areas other than the display itself.

Pros: Great viewing angle, good packaging, sturdy stand, very sleek looking. Amazing colors.

Cons: Cables it came with are extremely short.

Other Thoughts: Shipping tracking wasn't updated very quickly, not much to complain about though. That and it was just left on my doorstep for who knows how long.

Pros: Low cost.
3 year warranty.
ASUS reputation.

Cons: Mine was DOA. Connected it to PC and got a white screen. Issued an RMA and found I had to pay $23 to have it shipped.

Other Thoughts: I haven't purchased a monitor in a while - so I'm not familiar with the packing process for monitors from Newegg. Mine was shipped in the factory box - maybe that explains how it was DOA on day one. Now it appears I need to cover the cost to have it replaced - $23.00 - WHAT KINDA GARBAGE IS THAT? I could have purchased from a local box store & if it was broekn brought it back for free.
