Full 1920x1080 HD resolution. 16:9 screen aspect ratio. Multiple video inputs. Built-in extra usb ports. PIP & PBP. Cons: Like some of the other reviews I'm experiencing backlight bleed too and in the same areas as the others have stated, in the bottom left and top right corners. I would consider the bottom left corner really bad as I notice it in a lit room. The top right corner is about half as bad. I have a black desktop background w/ the nVidia logo in the center so I see the backlight bleed all the time Other Thoughts: I've been working quite a bit and just now had the time to issue a RMA request. It's going to cost me $28.03 to send this monitor back. I was going to try a second one but changed my mind when I seen Newegg was out stock. I don't think I'll be ordering another monitor online anymore. It's too much of a hassle to sent it back if it's defective and you end up losing money in shipping. They swivel in all directions and can get taller so they are above my speakers. They come with several cables too. Cons: None! Other Thoughts: The grid feature is kinda funny. I can't see myself ever using it even if I did more Photoshop work. A website I made looks pink on this monitor. What does #FFF8F0 look like on your monitor? I know there is more red than any other color in that, but on every other monitor it is too close to white to be too pink, but this one has more colors or something so its noticeably pink. Best part was the price: $299. Cons: It would be nice to have a speaker jack on the monitor so I can plug my speakers in at desk level rather than run another cable to my box. It is fully adjustable in every possible way. Height, swivel, pivot, rotate, it does it all. The stand is very well made and perfectly stable. It has a minimalist look that suites my tastes perfectly. The bezel is very thin and this monitor would work well in a multiple display setup. The IPS panel is stunning it color reproduction, coming from the factory perfectly calibrated. It is ready to go out of the box! Four USB ports, HDMI, Display Port, DVI, it has connection options galore. I love the 16:9 aspect ratio and the full HD resolution of 1920x1080 is the sweet spot for gaming and movies. Say bye bye to letterboxing! Cons: There is a slight amount of backlight bleed but it is hardly noticeable and not nearly enough to detract from the brilliance of this monitor. Some people may like the 16:10, 1920x1200, 24inch version better but not me. Other Thoughts: I had been using a 19inch, 4:3, 1280x1024, TN monitor for about 3 or 4 years before upgrading to this unit. It came highly recommended by MaximumPC and that along with the great reviews on Newegg sealed the deal for me. The 3 day shipping was a great deal at the time I bought it and made a sweat deal even sweeter! There is no comparison between this and my old monitor. This is better in every conceivable way. Can really see the different shades of gray, good for photo and video editing. Cons: I've read several people complain about the backlight bleed and I don't think I would have ever noticed unless I specifically looked for it. On my monitors you can only see it very slightly in a pitch black room with the monitor totally black (looking at a black test screen). I've never noticed it during standard use. Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these because I wanted a triple monitor setup. I've had these for almost a year now and I still love them as much as the day I bought them. I do a lot of video editing and the 1920x1080 displays with awesome color and contrast really makes a big difference. They also work fine for games. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Cons: ...Significant backlight bleed in the bottom left corner and a slight amount in the top right. Other Thoughts: Pretty sure I'm going to try to use ASUS Rapid Replacement if I can figure out how.
