Pros: Crisp Picture, vivid colors, HUGE

Cons: Quick Fit = Is not good.

no DVI connector, monitor comes with DVI to HDMI though. (But it has a VGA port? Really?)

Configure this monitor from your video card only.

Other Thoughts: Asside from Quick fit being weird and confusing at best... the monitor is great! Only con really.

Pros: Had it since feb and havent used it enough prior this issue.

Cons: Unit shuts off and turns back on, while surfing the web and watching movies.

Pros: This monitor defines what it means to be human. Nvidia Surround and 3 of these bad boys just makes you grin.

Cons: No DVI port on the monitor, The color needs to be fixed from the Nvidia control panal or the ATI catalyst control center. Follow the other review about color.

Other Thoughts: GTX 690, 3770K,

Pros: Great monitor, 1ms rate, flawless colors.
Easy to Setup. For those who complained: you obviously know nothing about Up and Down buttons..
Quality seems a bit on the high end. (Plastic is plastic)

Cons: Before you complain about colors:
If you have the Nvidia control panel on your PC, make sure you go to Display > Adjust desktop color settings > and select 'Digital Color Format' and select YCbCr444.
Use this setting if you hooked up via HDMI-to-HDMI.
You will be amazed at how much this makes a difference.
If you hooked up a different way, go to start > search for 'Calibrate display color' and change it that way.

Other Thoughts: As I said previously, when I first bought this monitor and hooked it up I wanted to return it. The colors looked horrible. (Black was basically grey)
Well, after fooling around it turned out to be the setting I mentioned in the cons. Fixed it right up! D
If this is your issue don't bother changing all the settings on the monitor itself as they will only mask the true problem. Like I said, you will be amazed at how much better your monitor looks by one setting modification.

Pros: Really bright screen with perfect color and brightness. A little bright out of the box but easily adjusted. Couldn't ask for a better monitor.

Cons: Menu takes some getting used to. Not very intuitive.

Pros: The image is crisp and the colors are vibrant. Being a 1ms panel makes this a good gaming screen for me despite having cards that can exceed the 60fps this is limited to.

Cons: The plugs in the back are horizontal instead of vertical. This meant I could not use my current flush mount wall monitor bracket. I had to get a new wall mount that stood away from the wall to allow for the power and HDMI plugs to fit properly.

Other Thoughts: Overall I love this monitor and it will serve me, hopefully, for many years to come like my previous ASUS panel did. I ended up getting a right angle power and HDMI cables to help with the flush mounting and it ultimately worked out.

Out of the box the monitor is too bright so toning it down a bit helped a lot. I set the brightness to 70 and that seemed to be about right.

Pros: Image quality

Cons: Out of the box image settings

Other Thoughts: I have to agree with all the other commenters that said this thing was a bit of a pain to get setup. I spent hours fumbling with the monitor settings and settings for my video card (GTX460) and just couldn't seem to get a satisfactory image.

I thought there may be some clues up here in the reviews, and sure enough the last reviewer pointed me to the words of "backcountrybum" and some baseline settings that made all the difference. Scroll on down the reviews, find "the bum" and you'll save a lot of time. Maybe Asus should change their default out of the box settings to those?

Cons: At first I thought that my brothers Hanns had better darks than this but after reading [backcountrybum] review on here and followed his setup guide it is much much better now! Love it completely after you setup the colors and such.

Other Thoughts: The menu button navigation can be confusing at first but it only takes a minute to get the hang of it.

Menu Selects, Up/Down Adjusts, S/A goes back = Easy!

Pros: This monitor has the best color reproduction I have ever seen,

Cons: the Speakers are good but With a monitor in this price range I was hoping for something a little better.

-Okay contrast ratio (better than average - See other)

Cons: -Extremely confusing navigation. Adjusting alignment is a total headache on this thing, but with today's videocard software almost anything can be done through that.
-No remote control? (no monitors have them so can't really complain and again sleep mode on a pc is the same thing)

Other Thoughts: Built in speakers suck, but this is always a given. To make it easier for the HDMI-ers and Gaming consoles, there is a 3.5mm output jack to external speakers.
The contrast and brightness ratio are very good, but do not beat my 22" Hanns monitor I purchased a few months after. For $300, I am kind of surprised it wasn't better. (I suppose if I messed around with the settings on the monitor I could get it to come very close, but the alignment controls were such a mess on this thing, I didn't even bother). I had the same system hooked up to both monitors too just to make sure it wasn't the system settings. A new nvidia video card did wonders for me (I only use this with my HTPC for movies now). The software of the video card can adjust most of what you can physically with your monitor.
The 1ms response time causes screen tearing with certain games/applications. Make sure you know the limitations/settings of your video card and applications before thinking that 1ms is the best way to go.
