Cons: This monitor isnt all that good for the price. Its picture is poor, the screen goes black on you after some time of heavy use. It takes a while to get the image sort of right. Very bad ASUS, VERY BAD. I wont be buying any more Asus products. I fall into the "0 - 1 day" category of ownership. I will edit this review after arrival. I shopped for some time and kept coming back to this model. Don't bother going to Best Buy etc. All the office/electronic stores had was junk for kids and Mac users. No other $200ish monitor comes close. Go get daddy's credit card and order this, now. Cons: They will not teleport them to me. 3 days is like 400 of my attentions spans... Other Thoughts: I would have made a video pre-review, but I am in no state to be filming myself. Richard 5/15/2013 2:15:41 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 5/5Fantastic Display for the Money Pros: For the review saying the resolution doesn't fit the screen- you're wrong. There is a ~1mm gap between where the screen actually starts and its bezel. It's still a full 23.6" of display. First thing that struck me about this screen when I plugged it in was how incredibly bright it was. I keep the brightness around 65 and it's still incredibly bright and crisp. Incredibly clear display, great definition and pretty adequate color accuracy. Used the speakers once with my PS3, and although the EQ isn't great- they're definitely fairly decent speakers considering they're in a monitor. Incredibly small bezels- perfect for multi-display setups. Overall looks great. Cons: My display has a single bright pixel (always renders in red if not displaying a neutral color), but I checked ASUS' warranty information and they allow up to 3 before replacement. However, this doesn't really upset me considering it's a <$200 monitor. Colors were a little off out of the box, but some settings adjustments fixed that entirely. As with most ASUS monitors, the stand is a little flimsy, but the screen itself is great quality. Plus, it's wallmount-able, so that's not really an issue. Other Thoughts: Overall a great buy. Monitor 1 and 2: Fantastic backlight. Slightly different color grades. Monitor 3: It turns on. Cons: The color grades on monitors 1 and 2 are slightly different -- nothing that can't be fixed in the color settings. On monitor three however: This monitor is considerably more green-yellow than the other two. Furthermore, it's quite dim compared to the other two. The closest I've come to calibrating this monitor, after roughly 6 hours of trying, is a cooler color temperature -- but it's considerably dimmer than the other two monitors and stands out in the array. The stands that come pre-packaged with the monitors are not very stable and you should immediately replace them with a proper VESA mount.
