Pros: Good Price, BIG, picture is pretty high quality, and settings are easy to adjust and get just right.
IT WORKED FOR ALL OF 7 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons:
UPDATE: The monitor is now totally inoperable. I turn it on and in 4 seconds it slowly fades to black with strings of pixels still lit up. This is similar to many reviews I've read, but can confirm the monitor is garbage....don't waste your money like I did.

I've owned this for about 4 months now, its certainly an upgrade from the 23" Samsung I had, however the picture is nowhere near as vivid. But that being said its still a pretty good picture. Great for gaming, and the refresh rate is nice at the default 60hz. Makes a great monitor all around for any use.

Biggest problem is that now 4 months in the screen has developed a strange thin black line of pixels going across the monitor from right to left about 2 cm down from the top....also horizontal lines are not visible across the entire monitor especially in low light, and in the gray shades of movies and such...thats ok, but I'm worried now that this monitor may not make it another 4 months if its degrading this quickly.

Other Thoughts: I would NOT recommend it, mine may be a faulty monitor or something. Its still great for the price and value. Its disappointing that an ASUS product is now having issues, always bought their brand before and nothing but great results....UNTIL NOW

Pros: Large screen size with good image quality. Using for general computing tasks. I am not a gamer and have not put it through it's paces that way.

Cons: The HDMI ports are tucked away and a bit of a challenge to get to. Not insurmountable, and we have 2 different HDMI inputs connected.

Other Thoughts: Very pleased with this monitor and this purchase

Pros: Big screen, good price

Cons: Set up was a hassle. Not sure if it is working properly. I have windows 10 and all of the settings say that I have it set up correctly but websites look awful and text is blurry. Pictures do not look like they are 1080P

Other Thoughts: I have checked the HDMI cable, settings, windows help page and my graphics cards website and still can't figure it out. I want to return it but it will be 40 bucks to do that.

Pros: Nice screen, no flaws. Really looks nice. Hard to beat for the price.

Cons: Almost complete absence of instructions (but you can find on-line). Lots of cables included but no hdmi cable included.

Other Thoughts: No problem recommending to a friend. If I needed another monitor, I would buy again.

Other Thoughts: I do not own this product, but I just wanted to make everyone aware that this product title is inaccurate. The title says "Ultra-Widescreen", but what it means to say is "ultra-wide viewing angle"

Pros: Ummm... the price was goods... you get what you pay for though.

Cons: Red pixel artifacts on the left hand side of the screen when displaying certain shades of dark blue. The colors are horribly washed out which means your blacks are going to be a medium grey at best. I've been an ASUS fan for a very long time, but I am returning this awful monitor and getting something else. Minus the red pixel problem this might be a great office work monitor, but it's awful for gaming or anything graphics related with the terrible washed out colors. This is the first ASUS monitor that I've ever been disappointed in.

Pros: Performance/Price ratio is, I believe, is unbeatable. Superbly supported my current set of applications (controlling a set of Software Divined Radio components used for HF radio spanning the globe for digital communications with many real-time displays (to include rapid movement waterfall displays) ) A really changing task! I have not needed to change the default setup values. Worked great out of the box. My MIR has already been received.

Cons: Speakers are minimal and not to be considered a functional component of the display.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this display to most any cost sensitive user with a need for excellent performance.

Pros: This product is a fail.

Cons: 1. color is so wired and washed out, no way to adjust to normal, with different computer and different video card, same results, I am sure it is the monitor issue
2. the fonts are blurry, no matter using hdmi or vga, it is worse than a 10 yr old TN panel monitor.
It is simply not usable and harm to the eyes.

Other Thoughts: This product is a fail.

Pros: - If your tight in budget and looking for a big monitor, this is the best choice!
- Response time is good
- Viewing is good
- I don't notice any light bleeding
