- Pros: No dead pixels, bright clear display. Mine included the DVI cable.
- Cons: Speakers should have been left out.
- Other Thoughts: As ITguy stated previously "The rebates will most likely not get honored. If Wintergreen Systems is providing the rebates (call Parago, the clearing house to find out), there is a good chance you'll never see the money. They were investigated by the attorney general of Indiana last year and it seems they're up to their old tricks again. Again, find out who is providing the actual money and cutting the checks for rebates. Unfortunately, it seems Hanns-G product rebates are only supplied through Wintergreen which doesn't help. Search the internet for more information. Wintergreen is based out of Elkhart, Indiana"
Don't base your buying decision on the rebate net price ! I bought this monitor in January and there are no funds for the $xx rebate offered. My bigger concern is that the company is in trouble and/or pulling out of the U.S. and the warranty will not be honored. Hanns-G had auto phone system for msg only and has not returned multiple phone calls over the last 2 months.
Rebate Track That I got
- Pros: Everything works just fine. No problems, Just a bit slower in refreshing compare to my CRT

- Other Thoughts: Please be advised: Parago, Inc. is a provider of rebate processing services for its clients. As a rebate processor, Parago works on behalf of Wintergreen Systems to receive mail, perform data entry services, receive customer service calls, print checks, and perform other services associated with its promotions. For the submission in question, Parago performed data entry on the submission, and forwarded the information to Wintergreen Systems for approval and funding. To date, Parago has not received such approval and funding from Wintergreen Systems. Until Wintergreen Systems forwards additional funding for the promotion in question to Parago, Parago will not be able to mail any additional consumers checks under the promotions. We apologize for any frustration this has caused, and will process the reward as soon as we are provided the required funding and approval by Wintergreen Systems. Hanna-G JC-199DPB
- Pros: replaced a crt 19' with this one and has been working great
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: highly recommended if replcing a standard crt
- Pros: Well nothing too special here... LCD monitors that work the way they're supposed to. The picture looks good, the definition is good, no dead pixels after 6 months of heavy use.
- Cons: Very noisy! The monitors emit a high frequency noise with every mouse movement and keyboard click. I've never quite gotten used to it. Also the monitor speakers suck if you were wondering. Clip distortion saturates your sound if you turn up the volume half way.
- Other Thoughts: If the price is right get the monitors. If not, spring for something that costs a bit more, but is of a better build quality.
