Cons: Built-in sound is terrible, does not go up to 1920x1080. Had dead pixels on arrival (not enough to RMA but newegg agreed to RMA it anyway) Other Thoughts: It's a decent monitor but I wasn't wowed. it was good for the price I got at Thanksgiving last year. Cons: I've had it for a year and a half and it's now dying. Last week I noticed a small blank spot on the bottom of the screen and it's slowly been spreading upward and now I can't see my taskbar icons anymore. There's a "hole" in the display just bigger then a 50 cent coin now. Other Thoughts: Really loved this monitor and while I would like to get another just like it, I'm concerned about it only lasting a year. Did you find this review helpful? Cons: I'm just disappointed that the monitor broke after a year and a half. I just started using it about a month ago. It used to be my wife's monitor but she only checks her email twice a week. So, we really haven't used it that much. Now, it flickers randomly and frequently. Other Thoughts: My other monitors are Asus. I Stream online video and run AutoCAD and Adobe CS. It does both well. Cons: I read that the on-board audio is sub par on this monitor but I never bothered connecting that cable as I have a nice 2.1 solution. Wish this had HDMI input is my only criticism. Other Thoughts: Great bang for the buck, I primarily bough this to help in increasing my desktop real-estate and so as to be able to use a wireless mouse to navigate to Hulu and Netflix from across the room. Cons: The backlight in the monitor failed after a year. It now will only work after you power cycle it several times, and it is getting worse. Cons: Agree sound quality from speakers mediocre but this is not why I purchased this unit. Other Thoughts: Bought 2 monitors several weeks ago, bought 3rd monitor this week. Have only used this for business programs but very good choice for this applications.
