Pros: Decent price for the size. I've had this monitor for 6 months in a dual monitor setup and it has been great. The screen quality was surprisingly good.
Cons: It's hard to see the monitor control buttons in low light but, eh.
Other Thoughts: I was kind of nervous about buying a monitor online with the dead pixel policy and whatnot but the monitor shipped in perfect condition.

First issue with Hanns-g

Pros: Always been a fan of Hanns-g. Good warranties, prices and great monitors.
Cons: This is my first Hanns-g to give me problems. I order these for my customers as well and never had an issue.
Other Thoughts: Im not sure what the problem is at this moment. I have this monitor plus a hanns-g HW223D setup in dual monitor mode with an ATI video card on windows 7. The monitor at boot up will randomly go and stay black, I cant even bring up the menu on it. Yet if I open the screen settings on the other monitor and just re apply the setting the screen comes back on. Even as I type this the screen goes black then back on after 2 sec. Dont know if it is the monitor or card. Time to start digging and find out. Have no trouble at all with the other hanns-g.

Nice monitor

Pros: Display is very bright, actually had to turn down the brightness level. I purchased this for a business and it has a nice clear display. I have a number of other Hanns-G monitors and in general have been very pleased with the quality.
Cons: Speakers could be better. As with any monitor with built-in speakers the quality could be better.
Other Thoughts: I like manufacturers who stand behind thier products. A lot of manufacutrers only warranty thier monitors for 1 year, Hanns-G has 3 year warrantees.
