Cons: The built in speakers sound horrible. They sound like cheap headphone speakers that are being played way too loud.
Other Thoughts: Get the monitor for eyes look, and get a good set of speakers for your ears.

Terrible quality contronl

Pros: Cheap. nice display when it works.
Cons: Hanns-G has terrible quality control as it took 4 months for my monitor to break. A little past 3 months into my ownership I turned my monitor on and only 1/2 of the screen displayed an image. If I waited about 20-30 min it would be fine. Basically there was a connection somewhere inside the monitor that needed to warm up and expand in order to complete a circuit. Wonderful, it's not like my office is an extreme of temperatures, so this failure took me by surprise. Over time it only got worse. I call up Hanns-G support and they instruct me to ship the monitor back to them on my dime. OK, shipping cost almost 1/2 as much as a replacement monitor, but I like the monitor. So I send it off in the original box, w/ out the monitor stand, in the original styrofoam. Well a month passes before I finally receive my monitor back. I sent out a monitor with 0 dead pixels and a 1/2 functioning display. I receive one with 2 dead pixels packed terribly in some other monitor's box.
Other Thoughts: I will not be purchasing Hans-G monitors again. They are fine monitors when they work.

Pros: Great monitor at a great pricewith a HDMI input. I bought 2 of these and neither had any dead pixels.
