5 out of 5 eggsDecent monitor

Pros: Replaced my old school but nice 22" Viewsonic CRT that weighed close to 75 lbs. LOL that thing was a beast. This freed up tons of space on my desk sits further back on the desk so i'm not burning my eyes after hours of play.

I've had this monitor for almost two years and it's never failed me.

Screen is nice and big, colors seem normal and vibrant to me.

Looks great with HD movies and the most intensive games.

Has HDMI, built-in speakers and even a seperate 3.5mm audio jack if you are running DVI or the old school D-SUB.

Stand is sturdy enough.

Does have a lil tilt action but not much.

I've kept the original box this whole time and use it for LANing it up.

Cons: There's a slight backlighting issue around the edge of the screen i've noticed every now and then but only when the screen is blacked out like when you turn it off.

3 out of 5 eggsDead After Two Years

Pros: Crisp, brilliant colors, easy to set up, nice big screen. Never had a problem with it...until it died.

Cons: Died after two years of some type of power dysfunction, which doesn't make a lot of sense since I haven't moved it since I attached it to my desktop. It takes the award for the display that has lasted the very LEAST amount of time that I've owned since 1985 when IBM released their first personal computer. Snarky, but true.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal and solid monitor

Pros: Obviously the price was right, especially on sale. No dead pixels. Has HDMI and is very crisp and bright. Was a big surprise, first time Hanns G buyer. Would buy again no problem

Cons: Had it for over a year with no problems at all.

3 out of 5 eggsBig screen but lacking great colors

Pros: Big screen, easy to set up base seems firm and has had no dead pixels in over a year of me purchasing.

Cons: The colors are just not that vivid. This is the only draw back to this monitor. I have had this monitor for well over a year, no dead pixels which is a good thing but the black colors are terrible. The screen is a bit too bright. No amount of me adjusting the screen helped with the colors making it come to life.

Other Thoughts: All in all its a decent monitor. Its a nice big screen and the monitor has not let me down in working with zero dead pixels. I don't completely regret the purchase of this monitor. However, I have an Acer monitor and the colors of the Acer are far better.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Monitor I've Ever Owned

Pros: Well weighted, zero dead pixels after almost 3 years of 18+ hours a day gaming use, crystal-clear picture quality, excellent port choices

Cons: base is slightly flimsy feeling, but supports the monitor perfectly fine

Other Thoughts: As I said in my pros section, I'm a professional gamer who spends 18+ hours a day gaming in addition to my web surfing and movie watching time. This monitor is on just about 24/7 over a period of nearly 3 years (next month will be 3 years owning this monitor!) and I've never been so impressed at a monitor in this price bracket!

1 out of 5 eggsdied in under a year

Pros: cheap, looked great for the first few months

Cons: Trouble first started as a dark bar appearing about 1/4 way from the top, then the whole picture started cutting out (going black) if disconnected and reconnected. Would have to wait at least 4 hours before reconnecting to get the picture to stay. Otherwise, it'd go black after a few seconds from reconnection. Finally died for good today....picture would blink on and off, then display color pixel white noise and go to black again.

Other Thoughts: Did some searching and apparently this issue of the screen going black is common to this device. Never buying again. Next monitor I get, I'm getting an actual warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsNo regrets

Pros: Install was easy and painless.

Came with all the cables needed!

Great picture.

3 months of use, not a single issue.

Cons: As others have mentioned, speakers are not very good. If you were going to use this as a monitor to connect to a media source to watch TV or Movies and rely on internal speakers, I doubt you would be happy.

3 out of 5 eggsWhite overload

Pros: Great size for the price. No dead pixels. Black saturation is great.

Cons: White saturation is set to maximum eye burn. No amount of fiddling with the contrast (or any other settings) seems to make much of a difference. I used lagom.nl to test it. Several of my lighter photos are completely washed out on this monitor. Very disappointing since I upgraded to a larger HD monitor specifically to work with photos and video.

Other Thoughts: My year old dell screen at work has excellent black and white saturation compared to this Haans monitor. I'm disappointed I haven't been able to tweak this to see more than the 200 block on the white saturation test. When viewing from a steep angle above the monitor, I can make out some contrast in 244, 245 & 246, but what's the point of viewing a monitor at that angle?

5 out of 5 eggsHanns-G HH241

Pros: Sleek Finish, light weight, tilt-able. Price is awesome, and it's actually a 24" not 23.6" or at least the model I got was. No dead pixels, Win 7 display gamma is a little bright, but easily adjustable. Stand is sturdy. This monitor really makes things look real and large enough not to squint to see the text. A must for MMO's, RPG's or FPS's. now you really can see who you're shooting at.

Cons: Stand is too short, sits too close to actual desktop. Buttons are underneath (not a con) but to read what they are is almost impossible because it's black on black. Box was almost completely crushed but it works. Major Con (Auto dim sucks. It dims too much in Dragon Age 2, when looking at the inventory screen, other games as well.) Was a pain fine tuning picture to mix with my HD 5850.

Other Thoughts: All in All the monitor is worth the asking price, so a sale price is surreal. Also bought a Rosewill - Pellucid HD Series High Speed HDMI cable to go with it and i'm blown away, this is my second Hanns-G monitor. I like the price to quality ratio.
