Pros: -Very clear image quality, almost no calibration necessary
-Huge screen

Cons: -Very low sound on the built-in speakers, a pair of cheap speakers or a headset is a must.
-The stand is pretty uninspiring, I've owned it for over a year now with no problems but would love to have something adjustable.

Other Thoughts: I don't have a ton of experience with monitors, but compared to all the ones I've seen at my college or at a friends house this is the best I've seen.

Pros: Great looking screen. Whatever material it's made out of makes it hard to see dust on it.

Cons: The built-in speakers aren't very good, but I bought it for the monitor, so that's alright.

Pros: Bright, sharp image. Adjustable monitor angle. Easy assembly, minimal to no setup required, plug in and go. All cables included; VGA, DVI, sound & power. 23.6" screen size is large enough to utilize Windows 7 snap, two side by side programs open without resizing to use.

Cons: No major cons, only minor ones as mentioned by other users. Speakers are functional but definitely not theatre quality. Adjustment buttons are a bit awkward, but also functional. Not to mention you pretty much only need to use them once, if that. The stand may at first appear to be under-engineered, but once it is set up is sturdy enough. All it has to do is hold up the monitor, not my truck while I rotate the tires.

Other Thoughts: I had no previous experience with Hanns-G, so I initially purchased just one to evaluate it. I have now purchased a total of 16 of these for work. All work flawlessly, truly a great value for the price.

Pros: Good size, fits perfectly on my desk. And it looks good with good brightness and the buttons aren't that bad to use. I have used way worse monitors

Pros: BRIGHT Screen! It is huge compared to my old 19" CRT monitor. It automatically sets itself to 1920x1080, so there isn't any setup. Plus I only payed $139 for it. Newegg is awesome.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I was messing with the settings (no need). And I made the mistake of turning the X-Contrast feature on, yeah bad idea, when ever the screen had black or really dark on it, it would get dim, almost totally black. So i turned X contrast back off, and its running great.

Pros: Inexpensive, good colors, BRIGHT!

Cons: Wobbly stand

Other Thoughts: I bought this to use as my "At-Sea" monitor on the ship I work on. I've only been using it a few days, but so far it's quite nice.
I don't care about the speakers, as I *watch* things on it, and don't *listen* to things with it. My desk is plenty big for a decent set of speakers, and I generally use headphones so as not to disturb my shipmates.
The stand could use some major beefing up, as every time I tilt the screen, it creaks and groans like it's ready to snap. Just glad we have a good supply of "Industrial Strength" epoxy on board!

Other Thoughts: Had this monitor for 4 days. Love it. People say speakers and stand are bad. Who cares. I didn't buy it for the speakers or stand. The picture is what counts. Don't know why you would need a led backlight on one of these monitors. I had to turn down the brightness to 50%. Very happy so far!

Pros: Large, gorgeous, high rez display with no dead or stuck pixels.

Included both DVI and VGA cables which is a nice touch as I had some DVI but be darned if I could find them.

Bought this because my Westinghouse 21" slowly bit the dust and with new quarter at school coming up need to see what the computer is doing for classes in CS, eh?

Cons: Mentioned in other reviews: monitor stand is not the best.

It comes in two parts; the base + extension. Two parts instead of one make it wobbly-er than it should be.

No ability to tilt, but not really needed in my case, I've long since put support under my monitors to raise the middle/bottom of the screen to eye-level to reduce neck strain.

Other Thoughts: No minus eggs for the stand, even though it likely deserves it for such a big display...just seems wrong and an injustice for such a solid product.

If these reviews are read by the MFG and they care, a better stand or aftermarket product for replacement would be an excellent support/goodwill gesture.

Pros: Price, Full HD, Built in speakers, HDMI, Nice stand, looks really nice. NO dead pixels or light and dark areas. Good Quality

Cons: Newegg shipped this item in it's own box. Meaing when ups left it at my door, it screamed steal me to everyone that drove by. Huge 24" monitor box out there in the wind. Would have been nice for newegg to put the box inside of another unmarked newegg box.

Other Thoughts: It seems those who report negative feedback on this item and others, either don't know how to make adjustments or didn't rear the specs properly before purchasing. Yes the speakers are small and weak, but I knew this. If you want stereo surround sound then buy that in addition to this. It serves its purpose to me.

Pros: Decent picture for the price. Has dual VGA and DVI connections and includes both cables. Decent controls.

Cons: Cheapy stand. Contrast and brightness not a good as more expensive monitors.
