5 out of 5 eggsMulti-Touch Monitor is a good deal

Pros: 1. Touch for a really decent price
2. Really works.
3. Easy to set up.
4. Multi-touch expands and contracts as expected.

Cons: 1. Audio is a little tinny.
2. Instructions could be improved.

Other Thoughts: I had been looking for months for a reasonably priced touch monitor ... and this Hanspree monitor showed up as a special. It was shipped the day I ordered it and I got it within 2 days.

The setup was easy...however, please note that you need to connect the following cables:
a. Power cord (provided by Hanspree)
b. VGA, DVI, or HDMI. (Hanspree provides VGA connector only).
c. Audio cord if you want audio
d. USB cable (provided by Hanspree) if you want touch.

I'm pleased. If any problems develop, I'll update this posting.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: -Bright
-Reasonable viewering angle (I use it as a keyboard/touch pad/mice replacement by flipping it 180, so the viewing angle is pretty steep).
- Solidly built
- Responsive

Cons: - A bit heavy, but I did not expect to move it much so it is not too bad.
- Speaker is weak. I never used monitor speaker though, so had zero expectation.
- Highly reflective, as most touch screens.

Other Thoughts: -Got it while on sale, amazing price performance ratio.
-Never heard of this brand before. Bought it purely because of the price was worth the gambling.
-Does not regret this purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good, inexpensive touch-monitor

Pros: Good screen, bright and colorful
Decent for gaming
Aesthetically pleasing
Low price

Cons: Integrated speakers are terrible, anything above headphone volume and they are distorted. Useless for anything but Windows sound effects.
Glossy panel (to be expected of a touch screen)

Other Thoughts: If it weren't for the useless integrated speakers, it'd be a 5-star product. But this doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it; unless integrated speakers are a must for your desktop.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat product!

Pros: -Sale Price! (Though $200 isn't bad anyway)
-Picture quality is great
-Touch has been very accurate
-Stand seems to be sturdy, I like the design
-Viewing angle is built to the natural tilt of the screens stand, which can be adjusted to preference
-I can touch it, and it's kew

Cons: -I can't say about the speakers as I don't use built in speakers. Idk why anyone does...

-Because it's a touch screen, the glossy glass reflects everything! It's gorgeous in the dark though...

-The included USB could have been a bit longer. I mean when someone gets a touch screen it's not usually going right on the desk in front of them right as a main display? At least off to the side or routed across a desk

-I have had less then a month and I have (What I believe are) dead pixels. Now, I've had dead pixels before... But not on a touch screen. The reason these are so weird is because it's like the pixel is dead in the touch part. I can literally look to the left and right of the pixel and still see whats behind it, it's hovering over the screen? Also, I'm 100% certain it's not on the surface or outside the monitor (At first I thought maybe the screen got marked by something) but more identical ones have showed up since.

Other Thoughts: I have owned 4 HANNspree monitors in the past, I don't think they are low quality by any means. I have been using 2 Sceptre 32" 1080p HDTV's (one LCD and one LED) Both are great but the image clarity and quality on this screen is FAR better then a HDTV. (I've owned a HANNs-G 28" monitor and the quality difference between HDTV and monitor is Night and Day.

I bought this because I need something more portable.

4 out of 5 eggsdecent

Pros: Great color reproduction, build and function.

Cons: The so called stero speakers are terrible on this monitor . Don't get it for the speakers but for the touchscreen capabilities.

Other Thoughts: Decent buy but the speakers are week and mono to be called stero.

4 out of 5 eggsA solid monitor.

Pros: I have to say, I'm somewhat surprised. I've never heard of Hannspree, and that made me a little iffy on purchasing, but I decided to go for it and see what happens.

I bought the monitor because I've been using an old, dying HDTV as my PC display for the past couple years now, and really, really needed a replacement. The display is very nice for the price, and the sale price wasn't anything to argue about.

Plugged it into my PC (FX6300+GTX760) and immediately got a picture via HDMI with no fiddling whatsoever. I have never seen my desktop look so beautiful. The display is nice and bright, and offers full 1920x1080 HD, something I've haven't been able to do before, because I had to downscale my pixel resolution to an awkward 1804x1014 on my HDTV to compensate for overscan. The touchscreen worked immediately with no drivers or what have you to install on my Windows 8.1 OS. It's also accurate and responsive to all my gestures.

Also, it's big. Very big. Not big to the point where it gets overwhelming, I mean, 'just right' big. My HDTV is a 19", and 23", while actually not, feels like a huge jump in size. Also speaking in terms of size, it's pleasantly thin. This is probably because I'm used to using old, bulky displays, but it fits snugly against the back of my desk.

Cons: -As expected from reading other reviews, the built-in speakers are pretty meh. They don't sound horrible, not at all, but basically any headphones or external speakers will sound better. It's not a problem for me, all of my audio goes through my headset.
-Also indicated in other reviews is the problem of the length of the power adapter, it's not /that/ short, but it's not that long either, so you might want to consider the location of your outlet in regards to the location of your monitor before you buy this thing.
-The touchscreen has a tendency to 'fall asleep'. I don't know if this is my PC or the monitor itself. By that, I mean after I stop using it for a while, it won't work immediately when I go to use it again - it'll take a few seconds for gestures to register, and then the screen will work.
-The buttons on the right side are on the back of the unit. I keep having to turn the thing in order to see them. Not a serious problem, but a bit annoying.
-It's a bit heavier than I expected. Again, not a serious problem.

Other Thoughts: It's not a 4K monitor, but my friends and I believe that 1080p will be the standard for many more years to come. I'm pleased with my purchase, and should you buy this, you probably will be too.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's okay

Pros: Very affordable touchscreen monitor. Smooth glass front like a tablet, responding to swipe-in gestures, and easy to clean. Standard VESA mounts.

Cons: Speakers are poor, only suitable for system sounds. Wide black border around display makes unit larger than necessary. Touch will not work with USB cable over 6' long.

Other Thoughts: We need about 8' cable run from monitor to computer tower. I tried a 6' cable + 3' extension, and a 10' solid one. In both cases, the touch screen would stop responding after some minutes of use. With a 6' cable it works, so that must be the max length. Other brand monitors in the office work fine with longer cables.

4 out of 5 eggsNeeding Help

Pros: Easy on the eyes. Good screen color.

Looks great in the Photo Booth...

Cons: Not a con... cause I know it must be my fault. I can't get the touch screen part to work.... I have Windows 7. All updates seem to be in place.
Used a VGA connection to VGA... picture works.. just no touch portion works for me.

I'd love to have some help...

Other Thoughts: Instructions offered 5 or 6 connection options but didn't say if one or all were required... could be a little clearer.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Great wide screen. I'm a big player and I love the quality the full HD give me.
The touchscreen is comfortable and easy to use (which touchscreen is not easy to use?).
Multiple video input make switching between computers easier than changing cables.
Shipped fast

Cons: Integrated audio is poor, I prefer using external speakers
Buttons should be in front. Their positions require moving the screen to see their name.
Recommend not having a window in the back.. the screen have reflects.
There is not enough space between connectors so having all of them connected is nearly impossible.

Other Thoughts: Still love the screen. First purchase with Hannspree and impressed by the quality.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor

Pros: Big, smooth, doesn't smudge up and fingerprint easy/quickly, bright, crisp, clear. No beveled edge so working with Windows 8.1 is great.

Cons: DVI cable doesn't come included, and VGA connector isn't snug (will explain)

Other Thoughts: As mentioned, the VGA connection doesnt give enough clearance for the cable to connect squarely, so I had to wedge it in at an angle and not use the connecting screws. It feels flimsy, but it hasn't lost connection in about a month so I assume it's in there okay. It's rather annoying, but if that's the only downside, then it doesn't really deserve the loss of an egg. It's a great monitor. Highly recommended for the price.
