Buy Asus 8/1/2012 1:16:47 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5	Rating: 1/5Endless Problems Pros: If I'd had the money I spent on this monitor I problably would have bought booze. So, thanks Dell for selling me a paper weight. Cons: I have several of these monitors spread across my office. Each and every one has unique problems that cannot be resolved. Dell is completely unhelpful. Examples: Monitor 1: Goes into "power saver mode" and there is absolutely nothing you can do to get it out. You can move it to another computer, unplug the power cable, push buttons, and/or pull your hair out and it will not come out of this power saver mode. Bonus: There is no way to turn off "power saver mode." Dell claimed they fixed this on the newer monitors, but the problem is still here. Monitor 2: It turns itself off. Then you can't turn it back on. You can switch power cables, dvi/vga cables, computers, push all the buttons, unplug it for a day, whatever you want, there is no way out of this state. At random times the monintor will decide to come out of this state. This is Dell's attempt at humor I'm assuming. No matter what: Dell monitors have endless problems. I also have an Asus and Sumsung. Cons: Unlike most other monitors, the description is lacking any details with regards to what cables are included - NONE are listed in the specs or shown in the images. And, nothing is mentioned on the manufactures product pages either. So I assumed that no cables were included (especially at this price) and had also ordered DVI-DVI cables (two, since I purchased two monitors) at the same time. However, upon receipt, I found that the VGA-VGA, DVI-DVI, USB, and POWER cables ARE included with the monitor. I wish this had been clearly specified somewhere - it would have saved me ~$22 USD. CPUGeek 7/5/2011 8:02:30 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 5/5	Rating: 5/5Great Monitor Pros: I use this Monitor with a laptop with a 16" monitor, I like having the aditional 3" when I'm at home, plus I use an external mouse and keyboadrd so it gives a desktop feel to my laptop while I'm at home. This monitor is great. It has 4 USB ports ( 2 on teh left side and 2 on the bottom) It has connections for a soundbar, and an adjustable stand. This monitor has great resolution and is extremely easy to set-up. If your are looking for a non-widescreen monitor, this is the one to get. Cons: None Other Thoughts: I wish I had waited a little bit I ordered direct from Dell, and paid full price. This is a great deal get while you can. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
