Pros: LED backlight turns on quickly, stand is well made and highly adjustable

Cons: My current monitor is a 4-5 year old Samsung TN panel, nothing special. The product description and reviews (both on Newegg and from other sources) had me convinced this would be a considerable upgrade over my Samsung. Once setup and adjusted, I compared it side by side and to my great disappointment I saw very little if any improvement over my current monitor. Viewing angles were the biggest letdown, I saw at best a slight improvement over my Samsung. When rotating the display into portrait mode, even at a distance of over 3 feet, brightness and contrast (as well as color) shifts were evident at the top and bottom of the screen. I expected contrast levels to be a noticeable improvement as well but again, I saw very little if any difference between the two monitors. IPS panels (even budget panels) are touted for their superior color, both in accuracy and vibrancy, but again this monitor didn't meet those criteria. It works and obviously based on all the positive reviews, many people are happy with it, but if you're picky or looking for an upgrade over a decent TN panel, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: I ordered from Newegg and returned this monitor a few days later, not sure whether I can find a reasonably priced upgrade for my Samsung. Manufacturers don't care much about the PC market these days so finding good quality displays can be quite difficult, its a shame that most people have better displays on their smartphones than they do on their laptops and/or desktops.

Pros: These monitors have excellent color and can be easily viewed from all angles. I have 3 of these set-up on a single MSI 680GTX 4GB running in portrait mode and these things are stunning. 3240x1920 resolutiion. Also, the built in USB hub is nice, but it's not 3.0.

Cons: No HDMI port.

Pros: 1) Great clarity
2) Hardly any grain (I'm very picky)
3) Great color
4) Great for Eyefinity
5) Relatively cheap for the quality you get
6) Very well made stand

Cons: None

Pros: Crystal clear.. Use it for FPS gaming and contrary to what some skeptical, bias reviewers have said; I have had a lot of success and satisfaction with my purchase.

Pros: IPS panel. Color gradient is almost non existent when viewing at an angle.
Base shipped with monitor is of good quality with swivel and height adjustment.
Colors are warm.
Lots of port options.

Cons: Lack of hdmi.
Buttons take little pressure to activate.
On one of the monitors I occasionally have to pull and reseat the displayport cable to regain the picture. Only happens after reboots or return from sleep. Pulling from video card doesn't work.
Wish refresh rate was better than 8ms but I haven't noticed blur that often.

Other Thoughts: While the stand is of good quality I did replace them with a triple monitor stand from ergotech.

Pros: Colors do not shift when you move your head around. The color also stays the same across the entire surface of the screen. On my old TN panel, a solid color always looks like a gradient running from top to bottom. Not so with this monitor. This is the only reason I switched to IPS.

Cons: The grain! The 3H Anti-Glare coating used on this and other IPS panels is a bit too strong, and cause a grain-like effect. It can also be described as noise or sparkle. It's like looking at a photo taken at 3200 ISO, but a TN panel looks like a clean 100 ISO photo.

Also, this anti-glare coating doesn't improve upon my old TN panel's coating. There is still some glare if there is a strong light source present. So, in the end, the coating is not better and makes everything look dirty and grainy.

Other Thoughts: This is a great monitor with great color and great features, but it has been ruined by the 3H Anti-Glare coating.

Pros: Way better for Photoshop than my last monitor. Has a cool swivel mount and USB hub comes in handy. The blacks on this screen really really amazed me. Better purchase than I thought it was going to be. I also had a problem with the viewing angle on my last monitor which is definitely not the case with this one.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: More people should invest in IPS Displays.

Pros: Well built, sturdy. Base, swivel and height roller are all solid. Nice plastic wont scratch like all the glossy black gaming monitors.

Got a great deal on this and I'm happy. Diablo 3 is going to look fantasic on this monitor.

Cons: Not much ..... it came with 1 dead pixel in the upper right portion of the display. Kept it as is, no big deal.

Does not include HDMI cord. Didn't apply to me. Most monitors don't come with it.

Pros: Very good stand. Much better than some budget models. Has height adjust swivel etc.

Very good out of box performance. I only had to reduce the brightness.

Very easy menu system with good responsive buttons.

Anti glare screen. I made mistake of getting a glossy screen in the past which is a nightmare in brighter rooms.

Cons: Only con is no HDMI port.

Other Thoughts: I previously bought a top rated brand from Newegg that was a TN Film Panel. The out of box performance was not good. I endlessly played with color settings but could not get it right. The contrast ratio was terrible gamma was way off, and dark screens had heavy amount of back light showing across the edges of the monitor.

So I returned it and did some research. I decided on this Dell ISP based panel. All the previous problems are gone. Out of box performance is excellent. Dark screens are actually dark with no light at edges of screen. Worth spending a little more.

Pros: This monitor is miles better then any TN monitor on the market right now. 1080p on Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 is perfect in every way. Colors are deep and there is no light bleed on the corners (at least for me). This monitor is a great choice for someone looking to upgrade from a pre-led < 19" monitor and is looking for prime performance.

Cons: None! No HDMI is strange but all cards support DVI now anyhow.
