Performance inspires productivity The P2412H offers a spacious 24" screen allowing you to enjoy working in several windows at once. Full HD (1920 x 1080 (max.)) resolution and a high dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 (typical) ensure excellent imagery. Plug into productivity with a wide assortment of connectivity options, including DVI, VGA and USB ports for your peripherals.
Comfortable and convenient for everyone In addition to tilt, pivot and swivel adjustments, the P2412H offers increased height adjustment range of 130mm (5.12") over previous models. With enhanced menu rotation software, you can rotate your screen from landscape to portrait orientation, or vice versa, then follow the on-screen prompt to orient your on-screen content. It’s that simple. Pros: Really nice well built monitor. I love the height adjustment. Going from a Dell 19" to the 24" was a lot bigger difference than I thought.
Cons: None really.
Other Thoughts: Recently took it to a LAN event and it was surprisingly easy to transport and set up. Well worth the money!

Rating: 5/5Great display
Pros: It works with the older dell stands which is cool for me since I have 800+ dell monitors. I can just change the display and leave the stand. It has 2 usb port which is good
Cons: It only has two usb ports. The older 19 pro monitors have 4 which is nice. You can get 4 on this one on the next model up. No HDMI. Come on dell.
Other Thoughts: I bought 3 of these and my users where very pleased.

Rating: 5/5Great Monitor, Great Price
Pros: This was a BDay gift from my better half. It has all the features I had been looking for. The OSD is the easiest to use of all the monitors we own-the equivalent of using the UEFI BIOS compared to the stone age BIOS.
Cons: Zero
Other Thoughts: Best value in its' price range. Thanks, Newegg!

Rating: 4/5Nice monitor, great price!
Pros: Large wide screen makes it easy to see/work on actual-size (8.5x11) documents, spreadsheets, etc. Controls are intuitive and easy to use. Nice range on settings: brightness, contrast, etc. No dead pixels. Multi-inputs with cables. Sturdy stand that provides good range of adjustments. Able to pivot to potrait mode (but with this size screen, it's unnecessary).
Cons: 75 Hz refresh rate not available at highest resolution of 1920x1080.
Other Thoughts: This is my first wide screen, so I spent quite a bit of time researching specs and prices. [NewEgg has the best prices.]
There are plenty of other 24" monitors out there, but I chose Dell because we use them at work, so I'm familiar with their setup, operation and reliability. I wish we would recycle the 4:3 versions and get wide screens.
I gave the 2412H four eggs because I've only had the monitor less than a month. Hopefully, I'll get several years' service.

Rating: 5/5Very Crisp Display
Pros: Super Crisp and good looking display, they have these on campus in the computer science lab (actually they are the p2411h) and I decided I needed on for home. The rotation is a great feature. I use it portrait style next to another Dell monitor (landscape).
Cons: Wish it had an HDMI and DVI. I have another Dell display that has this, and it is very nice. Obviously not worth an egg because I knew this when I bought it.

Rating: 4/5Reliable Monitor
Pros: Very Reliable Light Weight Good Stand Decent UI
I've been using this monitor for quite dome time. First as the G2410, then the P2410H and P2411H and now as the P2412H. Dell has made a few changes to the monitor over time, but it's a very reliable piece of equipment. I've never had so much as a dead/bright pixel on one, much less outright failure.
The light weight of this assembly makes it particularly well-suited to use on an armature, especially with two or more.
Cons: Blotchy light distribution on a black background. Light Leak around the edges on a black background. Color Accuracy; not bad, just not to be used for professional work. Temperature; not bad, just not to be used for professional work.
Other Thoughts: I've been using these monitors for years with no issue. They work well for anything from gaming to spreadsheet/database work for hours. I would not recommend them to anyone needing color accuracy or uniform color temps. There is much better equipment for that type of work. Otherwise this is a great all-around monitor.
I'm not fond of the rounded corners being used now, but that's a minor aesthetic gripe.
**When I use "blotchy" I'm referring to a black screen. The light isn't perfectly uniform. It's not all that noticeable (you have to look for it and only on black backgrounds), but it should be mentioned. Same for the light leak... it's not that bad, but it's noticeable on a black background.

Rating: 5/5Great 24 inch monitor
Pros: The image quality of this monitor is great, and being LED, the black is dark. Another reason I selected this monitor is because of the stand, and this thing is rock solid. I can bump my desk hard and this monitor doesn't shake a bit. It also has an awesome range of motion, check out the details tab, and veiw the photos to see just how many adjustments you can make to this thing. I'm going to order another as soon as I can.
Cons: None
