3 out of 5 eggsWas nice while it lasted

Pros: Looked great, loved the stand, loved the 120hz.

Cons: Included dvi cable was a single link, not a dual link necessary for the 120hz function. Newegg saved the day there by sending me a rosewill dual link dvi cable to resolve that. Good job newegg, bad job Dell/Alienware! (or the packager of the refurb).

Unfornately it gets worse. Monitor developed a vertical line of bad pixels on the right side and day 89 of the 90 day refurb warranty, Im currently going through the RMA process now (which had me on pins and needles waiting for the approval since it was so close to the end of the 90 days).

Other Thoughts: Newegg was great handling the cable issue, and im hoping for the best with the RMA at this point. Not buying refurb monitors anymore. Especially since ASUS and Acer have since released comparable/better monitors for similar price.

1 out of 5 eggsMeh.

Pros: Really bright, has crisper colors than my other two monitors. It came with it's own DVI/VGA cables, which I honestly was not expecting.

Cons: I feel more than a little duped on the 3D aspect of this monitor. I was expecting a system that used polarized light and glasses, like the system used in the theater. Nowhere on the sale-page was there reference to Nvidia 3D Vision, just that the TV was 3D-Capable. If you want 3D with this monitor, you have to buy this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824995812 for ~$800.

It's been about a week and I've already got a dead pixel.

Other Thoughts: This monitor looks like a great deal, but should be passed by. If your willing to pay the $800 for a 3D vision kit, you can afford more for a better monitor.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Been using this monitor for a week for gaming and light photo editing and so far I have no complaints. The 3d is easy to set up with through nvidia control panel. So fare I have no complaints.

Cons: Some light bleed around the edges

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: Great engineering. The monitor looks as good as it is sturdy. The tilt and swivel are done in great fashion allowing for viewing at many different angels. Easy setup, which allowed me to jump right into my games! I have not tried the 3D yet. The sole purpose I bought the monitor was for the price and 120hz refresh rate. Hands down one of the better investments I have made into used electrical equipement. Take refurbished off and sell it like its brand new, would not be false advertising :)

Cons: None as of yet. Maybe a little heavy for those smaller peoples.

Other Thoughts: None as of yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: 120 hz, no dead pixels, 250 bones

Cons: viewing angles not the greatest but I never play games looking at the monitor from an angle anyways.

Other Thoughts: worried about backlight bleeding issues reported by other users, but I don't notice it during dark screens or backlight bleeding tests

5 out of 5 eggsThe best monitor I've ever seen..

Pros: Pure 120hz
1080p
DVI-D and HDMI input
Headphone Out
Touch sensitive buttons

Cons: expensive, but the quality is there.

Other Thoughts: To the first poster below. This is a common issue with this particular brand. For anyone in the future having similar issues, I would recommend trying the following before assuming its broken.

1. Double check to make sure you are using a DVI-D (dual link) cable for this monitor. Its required.

2. Make sure your cable is attached tight to the monitor itself. A loose connection will cause picture loss.

1 out of 5 eggsBroken on day one

Coming Soon!

Pros: None

Cons: Right half of the screen was broken on arrival. It green tinted everything, and basically replaced the color black with a flickering green on the right half.

Also came with one of the worst smells I've ever witnessed. A bathroom smells better than whatever this was packed in.

I'm now forced to return it with a 40 dollar shipping label. I'm basically going to be saving almost no money if I even get a working monitor the second time.

Other Thoughts: Video shows the green tint problem. No words needed.
