5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME DISPLAY

Pros: Crisp image, sharp display. Doesn't take up much space on my desk. Best monitor I have had in a long while, even if I paid the full price for the monitor I would be just as happy.

Cons: Easy to see fingerprints and smudges due to the glossy nature of the monitor.

Other Thoughts: A lot of people have an issue with the image not going to the bezel. I thought the same thing, but a friend showed me that it is a setting in the GPU on your computer. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE BAD REVIEWS.

5 out of 5 eggsGorgeous display

Pros: Gorgeous display, very sharp and doesn't have a large foot print on my desk (which is pretty cluttered).

Cons: Price, but worth it.

Other Thoughts: Spend a few extra on a good display, you won't regret it. This is the sharpest screen I've had under 23 inches.

5 out of 5 eggsExceptional Monitor for the Price

Pros: - Edge to edge screen
- Exceptional clarity with very little pixellation
- Operates in accordance to the specs
- 19 1/2' across, 12' down size
- Extremely customizable menu
- Very slim, appx 1/2' with the exception of the base where the cord jacks are, which is less than 2'
- Very sturdy, up-and-down beveling stand

Cons: The aspect ratio doesn't fit wall-to-wall on the screen. The screen extends to the edge, but there is a little more than a 1/3' black gap, which is just a little nit picky aesthetic.

Even with that being my only complaint, I highly recommend this monitor.

Other Thoughts: The monitor came very well packaged with a power cable and monitor cable. I will have to pick up an HDMI cable for the HDMI port.

Games, movies, editing, Photoshop, etc all look amazing.

The menu is supurb for all types of PCers. You have several, EASY options to choose from to get the most out of your monitor. This was a huge plus and a surprise because it was overlooked when we bought it.

We were originally looking at a couple ASUS monitors and a 3D capabale one with two 3D glasses, and after comparing prices with specs between them all, this one seemed to be the better buy. We're extremely happy with our purchase.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor!

Pros: Doesn't weigh very much. Very wide viewing angle. Great contrast.

Cons: No DVI port. The stand is somewhat springy, so the screen bounces around more than I would like. The stand doesn't telescope.

Other Thoughts: I bought this when it was on sale for $120, which was a steal. I would still recommend this product at a higher price though.

5 out of 5 eggsDell S2240L IPS

Pros: This screen is great , resolution is amazing and brightness is great. Movies are right on and YT is very good. The resolution and colors are clear and consistant.

Cons: I have used backlite screens without IPS and they are very good as well. Is the IPS worth the extra money? It's a matter of personal taste.

Other Thoughts: For the use I have, movies and reading using several types of readers, Calabre and Nook, I have enjoyed the brightnes and clearity of the screen, it even performs well on Smite and other games without excessive lag.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent monitor

Pros: >Lightweight
>Thin bezel, very sleek look to it
>Steady stand, no "wobblies"
>Excellent display, no backlight filtering through that I can see. Excellent text sharpness at resolutions above 1024x768, acceptable under that res. Deep color.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Screen is high gloss, but when the unit powers up with computer connection and is active it is unnoticeable. Not a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Difference

Pros: I bought this to replace a 2nd monitor that got struck by lightning. What a difference between this one and my other 22 in Dell. The color and clarity are night and day. If you use a dvi to hdmi adapter you have to use a cable and not a one piece adapter. There is not enough room on the back for the adapter to fit.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Great buy. I should have bought this along time ago.
