1 out of 5 eggsAwful customer service

Pros: Nice aesthetics, lightweight, thin,IPS panel.

Cons: After a little more than two months I noticed that the right side of my screen had a red tint/ lines going down it. A few weeks after that the red hue covered my whole screen and died after 5 minutes of use. Because I still HAVE Dell warranty I decided to give them a call to replace my monitor. It turns out that there was no service tag that came with it so talking to them was that much harder. After about 5 hours of being on hold and transferred around there was a guy that told me he did not know what to do and hung up the phone. I soon accepted the fact that even though I have warranty I'd have to buy another monitor elsewhere. 170 dollars wasted. It is hard to believe that everyone I talked to at Dell customer support couldn't help me with replacing their faulty merchandise.

Other Thoughts: This is probably the worst experience I have had with any customer service.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat when they work...

Pros: Great HD Image, Great Color and Depth. Purchased 4 of them.

Cons: First one died in 2 months time. Lost resolution and color. Getting the replacement from Dell was a hassle at best because they have no order information etc. It was replaced. Now a month later another monitor is doing the exact same thing and again I am going through the exact same replacement process with dell.

Other Thoughts: Buy the extended warranty you will need it.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor

Pros: Its a great monitor! Normally i go for the matte finish types, but this glass front is wonderful! Colors are very crisp at all angles. Also bigger than my old one. excellent for the money.

Cons: Only thing i can come up with is the lack of a dvi cable, only comes with vga. (why anyone would buy a nice crisp monitor like this for vga i don't know)
Also the space for the cables to plug in in the back of the monitor is very tight. I imagine due to how thin the monitor is overall. If you purchase a dvi cable with real large plugs on the end u could have some trouble.

5 out of 5 eggsRecommended

Pros: Crisp picture, great for gaming.
No dead pixels after 2-3 months.
In the 150-$200 price range, very affordable for the quality.

Cons: No HDMI

Other Thoughts: Would definitely buy this again.

1 out of 5 eggsDied after 4 months.

Pros: The monitor itself was great while it worked. The picture was incredible, especially since I was upgrading from using a 27" flatscreen TV to using an actual 1080p HD computer monitor.

Cons: It started dying after 3 months. Died after 4.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this monitor in December of 2012, and in March 2013 one day the top right section of the screen just started displaying a warped scan lined section. The malfunctioning sector had a fuzzy pink hue to it. What angered me was the fact that I took care of the monitor, never abused it, never ran it for too long at a time, and always shut it down over-night. I figured, hell, I'll deal with it.

A week ago, it died. Turned on the computer, and the entire screen is showing a full scan line filled display switching between a green and pink hue. Whatever i had on the desktop, well, that image was burned into the display, creating shadows overlapping shadows of previous screens. The cabled are fine. My GPU is fine.

After testing the monitor with other computers, i finally concluded that it was the monitor itself that was malfunctioning. And after 200 dollars and only 4 months, I can safely say that I am ENRAGED this is happening. My view of Dell has gone down severely. I am very disappointed.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Value Monitor

Pros: Color is nice, its a little on the darkside, but thats being very critical. Compared to other monitors at that price range and size I thought it was better then alternatives.

Looks very clean on the desk

Cons: No DVI cable

Other Thoughts: It's a $150-$170 monitor, at its price range I think it is the best I have seen. I got two of them when they were on sale and love them.

Buy it if you want a nice value monitor in this price range/ size.

Forget it if you are a pro photographer, but realize you are going to have to spend about 300-400 for the monitor you want.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Panel

Pros: was expecting more given the rave reviews. nice enough panel, very lightweight, mounted it to an arm but, to be honest, the look and feel of it strikes me as a bit cheap/chintzy, just doesn't scream quality imo. with that said, it does offer nice image quality.

Cons: doesn't look/feel like a quality piece of equipment, hard to believe it has a glass face (per the specs i believe, but i'm not so sure) - can't believe it doesn't have vesa mounting capability, albeit a mod is available if you do a search, but i knew that going in...

4 out of 5 eggsBeautiful monitor

Pros: The display is gorgeous - as long as you are in an environment where glare is not a problem. It connects easily and looks as good off as it does on. If you are a casual home user with a low light computer location you will be thrilled.

Cons: This monitor could have more connection options. If you are in a bright location glare will be a problem. Of course, if you are in a bright location you should be looking at matte finish monitors. If you are a gamer this monitor may fall short. It works well for me, but I'm a casual gamer.

Other Thoughts: I'm thoroughly happy with this purchase. It's a big upgrade for me and the price was great. As usual, quick delivery from Newegg.

5 out of 5 eggsKiller Deal, Good Quality

Pros: - Great colors
- Crisp text
- IPS panel, so viewing angle is awesome
- Sleek / Modern design
- Only 1/4" Bezel (even though glass stretches to the edge)
- amazing price point for IPS panel !! (got them with a $30 off promotion making the price only $139.99 each)

Cons: - No HDMI port, only DVI and VGA
- No audio or usb hub built in
- No VESA mounting options

Other Thoughts: Ordered two of these monitors for my office at work, at a wonderful price (@$139.99) and no issues so far. only slight differences in colors (after resetting both to factory defaults) one monitor has deeper blacks and the other looks washed out but after about 20 mins of tweaking, was able to get them to match...to be expected for such a cheap price for IPS monitor though... overall great buy for office environment, and when moving windows around, even though it has a 7ms response time, these monitors show less screen tearing and less image 'ghosting' than my 2ms 1080p Asus TN panel i have on another rig! Overall extremely satisfied with these panels, and if newegg wasn't 'out of stock' I would definitely buy a couple more of these!

4 out of 5 eggsgreat monitor at the price..but

Pros: -IPS
-color is beautiful
-pictures are very clear
-Thin and big screen

Cons: -i don't know about the others but mine has some back-light bleeding problem; i returned twice but still has the same problem. The bleeding is not noticeable at all if your screen is not totally dark and is at high brightness setting.

-No HDMI

Other Thoughts: very cool monitor. i will give it a 5 stars if it is without the cons
