Your color-critical work deserves stunning color performance.
Experience the latest technology with the Dell UltraSharp U2713H 27" high-performance monitor for consistent colors right out of the box.
Pros: None, but I learned that Dell sells point of sales systems on my phone tour of HELL.
Cons: I purchased this monitor from Dell. I was unable to set the resolution to 2560 x 1440. Anything over 1920X1080 produced snow/distorted image. I spoke to 4 different diversions of Dell. And some of the suggestions were unbelievable. Never allow an alleged Dell tech to remote into your system. He crashed my rig. Because he was sure I did not have current nVIDIA drivers. So after one month and 2 replacement monitors I am back to my dual Alienware 24” LCD. To have a resolution of 2560X1440 your video card must support same and you must have a dual link digital cable. Check the Dell chat rooms about this monitor before you purchase one. The dual link digital cable is available at Newegg. Yes the monitor should come with dual link digital cable, but my three did not.

DEFECTIVE USB 3.0 * AVOID
Pros: Great picture. Wide variety of inputs. Wide Gamut
Cons: There is a large batch of these that have a defective USB 3.0 hub that will only work if connected to a USB 2.0 port on your motherboard or only use USB 2.0 devices. Connecting a USB 3.0 device and using a USB 3.0 port on your motherboard, will cause the device to either not be recongized or constantly cycle between connect/disconnect.
Other Thoughts: I'm disgusted by the fact there so many people out there have this monitor with no working USB 3.0 hub. My guess is most people connect it to USB 2.0 ports on their motherboard so they never notice. I think Dell should issue a recall for the entire line as clearly it has a faulty design.
