5 out of 5 eggsBest display I've ever owned.

Pros: This display is beautiful. I don't know if it's the best on the market, and it's not as good to my eyes as a pentile AMOLED display, but it really looks nice from any angle (there's your IPS tech shining, as well as your LED backlight).

There are quite a few USB ports on the monitor, which I love. Fewer cables from my desktop dangling down to the floor where my computer is.

I use a monitor arm to hold my monitor. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but with Samsung monitors often lacking it, I feel I should note that the VESA mount capability is a huge pro in favor of this monitor for me.

I'm really pleased with the speaker bars by Dell. It's not that the sound they put out is amazing (which it's pretty good, all things considered), but rather that I don't have to worry about my monitor's built in speakers dying and having to buy a whole new monitor. If the speakers die, I just buy a new speaker bar.

While it's not really the monitor itself, the packaging for the monitor did not have any Styrofoam. It was all cardboard cleverly folded to support everything. It's much greener and I give massive props to Dell for being the first company I've seen do that.

Cons: USB port placement isn't as good as it used to be. This is only a con when looking at the evolution of the product line. Dell monitors used to have two widely spaced USB ports on the side, which was super convenient compared to the USB port being either inside a compartment (which is designed to hide your cables) or on the back of the display (which is harder to get to). I'd like to see Dell go back to the side ports.

Other Thoughts: I specifically picked out this monitor because of the Dell monitors I've used in the past. I wanted an IPS display and didn't want to skimp on features. I'm not disappointed. Dell has done a really good job thinking out these monitors.

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice monitor

Pros: Works very well, with no real flaws. I am using this monitor at 1600x900 with an ASUS 27 inch screen at 1920x1080 and the fit is perfect. The only way that this could be accomplished was by having continuous height adjustment in the monitors, and the P2214H is one of the most adjustable displays available. Picture is very good.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value...

Pros: Great quality for what you are paying for. I've had two of them (side by side) for over a year and the screens have given me no issues.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor!

Pros: It has very good color reproduction, it looks great, and it's just the right size for most people without being too big or too small. Works great playing games. No lag that I've noticed. Lots of connections and free included display port cable.

Cons: Not totally perfect but it has very nice build quality.

Other Thoughts: I caught it on sale. I didn't buy it from Newegg but wanted to review it here since I do buy things here and also check feedback from other buyers on this site when I'm thinking about buying PC related things. I think this monitor will not disappoint. I'm using the DVI connection for now but want a better video card with display port output to take advantage of the better connection eventually.

5 out of 5 eggsWorkstation display

Pros: Gets the job done, the built in usb ports are powered and can be kept powered when the display isn't active, can pivot to vertical when programming/browsing.

Cons: Rotation is in one direction, pops off the bracket easily, only VGA, USB and Power included.

Other Thoughts: Could have been cheaper in Canada.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat replacement for HP ZR22w

Pros: 95.3% sRGB
AH-IPS
LED
VESA Compatible
Adjustable Height
Display Port
Rotating Display

Cons: USB ports in bad location
No audio (headphone jack)
No card reader
6-bit+FRC

Other Thoughts: I bought the P2214H to replace an HP ZR22w that could no longer attain brightness above 90cd/m2. I usually run my monitor at 120cd/m2. I wanted the same size and aspect ratio as the HP ZR22w, it fits my application perfectly, and is a great replacement for the ZR22w. I got 95.3% sRGB using a Spyder4Express with Argyll CMS and dispcalGUI. I am very pleased with this result, especially considering my ZR22w was 95% as well, and it was a lot more expensive than the P2214H.

One complaint that I have regarding the P2214H is that the USB ports are on the back side of the monitor, about 3 inches from the bottom. Not great for accessibility. My old ZR22w had a few USB ports in the same location, but it also had two on the left side. This was great, and allowed me to use my monitor as a USB hub. I cannot with the P2214H.

My other complaint is that this monitor is not true 8-bit. It is 6-bit +FRC. I would have preferred 8-bit or 10-bit, but at this price point, it just isn't attainable yet.

Overall, I really like the Dell P2214H as a replacement for my old HP ZR22w, especially for the price that I paid.

4 out of 5 eggsDell P2214H Monitors

Pros: Affordable, albeit it is now cheaper than when I had bought it.

This is about the perfect size for a 1080 monitor. Everything looks nice and sharp.

I bought 3 of them, and am using a stand for all of them, so I cannot comment on that portion, but the overall build quality seems very good.

Cons: No DVI cable with it. I plan on using the included DP cables, but that's strictly because DVI cables weren't available.
