3 out of 5 eggsNot bad for price

Pros: Overall, you can't beat 24" monitor that can be had for under 100. Color fidelity is good and response time is sufficient.

Cons: One of the two monitors I purchased has been in and out at best (only powers on every 2-3 attempts). Strange. Can't seem to find anything about it online. The one that works does well, just nervous it may end up doing the same.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: i didnt buy this here but i bought it for an extremely low price.
24" screen is a nice upgrade from a 19" one.
1920x1080 is also a nice upgrade from 1440x900.
for such a large area(21"x12" area), i have yet to see a dead pixel.

Cons: one of the buttons is a little hard to press.
if you tap the side of the monitor, you can see it wiggle so it isnt that sturdy.
the only thing that annoys me is that when it goes to "stand-by" mode, the light to the power button just continuously flashes and never turns off and there is no option to turn that off
....there is an option to turn off the light when you ARE using the monitor just not an option to turn off the light when you AREN'T using the monitor.

Other Thoughts: as you can tell, i hate blinking lights. im not about to go and open up the monitor just to hide the light and i think its stupid to put electric tape on brand new items but that's what I'll probably end up doing.
only knocked it one egg because the button thing was upsetting and the blinking light is annoying, i dont care about flimsy stands but other people do so i had to add that.
also, its not an IPS monitor so you will find the typical color distortion that you see in all regular non-IPS screens.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent for the money

Pros: The screen is very bright, especially next to my old monitor right next to it. The picture quality is nice. Easy to set up. No dead pixels out of the box.

Cons: Only comes with a VGA cable. Not sure why you would send that instead of DVI-D.

Other Thoughts: All the buttons are on the front, which I like. There is no height adjustment, which I don't care about. For the price it's a pretty decent monitor.

4 out of 5 eggsEasy setup. Looks fine. Narrow viewing angle.

Pros: Easy to unpack and attach stand. Comes with cables. I did not install drivers from CD and it ran just fine. Easy to set up using buttons on bottom right of panel. The picture is very good, with just some slight edge bleeding on the sides.

Cons: The viewing angle is narrow. If I sit 24 inches back from the screen and move my head to any edge of the screen, the opposite side of the screen is already showing some color distortion. I would guess the viewing angle is +/- 45%. If viewing angle is important to you, opt for an IPS type panel.

Other Thoughts: I would have preferred the wider viewing angle of an IPS type panel, but I found user reviews for the IPS panels I considered that complained that the non-glare coating looked cloudy. Since I mostly sit dead center, I chose the better picture over the wider viewing angle.
