5 out of 5 eggsBest for multiple

Pros: Thin Bezel
Sharp Colors

Cons: The stupid menu (how often do you go in the menu?)

Other Thoughts: The only thing alot of people have against this is the menu. You only go in the menu to get them set up. It is a little bit of a pain, but now where near taking an egg away. Ordering one more to add to my two. They look really nice together.

3 out of 5 eggsnot quite as good as the u2412m

Pros: ultra thin bezel
decent colors/ performance

Cons: washed out color
light bleed

Other Thoughts: i compared this directly with the u2412m. I wanted to love this monitor for the sleek appeal and super thin bezel. The reality is though after a few days of looking at both, it couldn't keep up with the color and performance of the u2412m.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitor

Pros: Good for gaming. No ghosting. Good colors. Bright (maybe too bright).

Cons: Turning the backlight down makes it easier to read at night

5 out of 5 eggsGreat monitors

Pros: Quality, image is crisp and bright, DisplayPort 1.2 MST (Daisy-chaining, meaning it has a DP-OUT port to connect to another monitor).

2 HDMI ports, 2 DP ports, and 1 DP-OUT port. You can select which video input you want from the four available.

Can act as USB-hub if you need that.

I have three of these connected to an AMD FirePro v4900, and I love it!

Cons: Monitor buttons in front right are touch-sensitive. I wish they were real buttons. I bought three of these monitors, and one of them seems to have a lot of difficulties when I try to press the buttons. Not worth my time to make an RMA, though - I'll just leave it like that. I almost took an egg because of that, but meh, they're just buttons.

Other Thoughts: If your graphics card is an Intel (incl. cpu-integrated) or NVidia, make some research before buying. As far as I could understand, NVidia and Intel graphics are not playing nice when sending 1080p videos through DisplayPort, assuming the monitor is a TV. Some monitors (not just Dell) don't receive the video stream correctly, and will not display anything. I had to change my NVidia GTX 750 Ti for a AMD FirePro v4900.

Monitor borders seem to be very thin (~2mm), which look really nice when the monitors are turned off. When they're turned on, they have an additional ~5mm of padding until the image.

4 out of 5 eggsPleased with it

Pros: Like the picture. The stand is nice and I can get it in any position I want. Pinball Arcade in portrait mode is awesome! No dead pixels! IPS is a big improvement over my old cheap TN panel.

Cons: The touch controls are kind of a pain. It usually takes a few touches to get the power on or off or the menu to come up. I think I'm getting used to it, though. Quick touches don't work, you have to be slower.

Other Thoughts: if you have a recent nvidia card, to get the best picture, you'll need to hook it up HDMI and run a program to set the color range to Full (0-255). Displayport and HDMI look washed out from nVidia video cards. Also set a PS3 to full range in the display settings too if you hook one of them to this. It'll look good!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat business class monitor!

Pros: Display port and HDMI inputs. Excellent bezel making multi-monitor setups much nicer. Noticeably better display quality than an Asus VX228 monitor I recently purchased.
I do recommend getting the Dell sound bar for audio, it works well with the USB ports/hub on the monitor, and provides adequate sound for business use, and most home use. The built in USB 3 hub works well.

Cons: No DVI or VGA inputs.
The first one I ordered had a blue line, but Newegg replaced with no problems. Replacement is perfect.

Other Thoughts: Replaced an 8 year old Dell 19 inch monitor (with sound bar) with this. Realistically, this should probably be a higher resolution display, but it pretty much works with anything. I primarily use this with a KVM switch, so far no issues in that respect.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best monitor

Pros: Superb color, contrast, motion and style. This will be a benchmark display for at least a year to come... :) Bezel is tiny for multi-monitor configs (though I don't use that). DP and MiniDP work very well (I'm running a tower PC and a MacBook through this display).

Cons: No built-in USB switch (none expected, though). Ever-so-slight curving of the image at the left/right edges of screen when looking from center. I don't notice it unless I really try to seek it out.

Other Thoughts: Reasonably priced for the functionality.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Darn Good

Pros: -Awesome Bezel
-Great Price
-Ultra Low lag IPS
-Pretty good color calibration from the factory using the sRGB setting (cal results sheet included)
-DisplayPort Daisy chain work perfectly. Even when swapping between eyefinity groups and extended desktop modes. Setting saved from previous mode.
-USB 3.0 and power charging port works as it should. You can even set it to leave the USB power on while the monitor is in standby for charging. The USB is not powered by the computers port.

Cons: -I first ordered two. Both had issues with the scroll up touch button. One was worse than the other. Dell replaced them at no cost to me.
-I now have three of them and one is a slightly warmer color than the other two. The other two are identical in color to my eye. The third is just a tad off.
-DP and HDMI only? Sure they aren't compatible with older equipment but why stick to old standards. Plus dell needed the room for the USB3.0 and DP Chaining feature.

Other Thoughts: Only 4 stars due to the touch buttons not being illuminated and the scroll up issue. Dell Customer Service is bleh but their English is surprisingly good.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Monitor

Pros: It has every modern connection you could need. It has 2 HDMI ports, you can customize the first two touch buttons to switch between HDMI 1/2 or DP 1/2 ect. So i have a ps3 and computer connected and can easily switch between the two. Has usb 3.0 ports, i connected my logitech wireless usb into one for my mouse and keyboard. One fast usb3.0 to charge things. I love it because my old monitor only had dvi-d.

It is a IPS panel that looks way better than my old TN panel. Its 8ms time is fine to game on and the picture quality is very good with its factor calibrated sRGB mode.

Cons: When i first plugged it in with a hdmi the picture wouldnt fill the entire screen. I have a radeon graphics card and had to install the AMD Catalyst Control Center to set the scale to 0. By default it was underscaled by 15%. People with nvida graphic cards have to custom the set up more because it detects it as a tv i heard. Mine detected the monitor fine through hdmi just custom the scale.

It doesnt come with hdmi or display port cables.

Other Thoughts: Wanted a IPS monitor with 8ms or higher response time to casual game on, with hdmi and usb 3.0, Factory calibrated with good picture to edit video and pictures on, that was under $300. This is one of the only ones in my category and i am very pleased with it so far

2 out of 5 eggsDo not buy

Pros: Very bad screens. If you are running 2+ screens try to turn of 1. all the screen will go off and video card loses settings, Take me 1 to 2 ours just to reset it back. The problems is with monitors not with a video card. I have other set of monitors that are working just fine.
