4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: cheap, works great, easy great starting monitor

Cons: The only con I have really found is the colors aren't always as good as they could be.

5 out of 5 eggsAffordable

Pros: Saves power
Simple
Lightweight
Cheap
Good for multiscreen set ups

Cons: up to 3 dead pixels
No DVI-D Cable
No HDMI Output

Other Thoughts: I bought four of these and previously owned two of the same model I had bought from a retail electronic store. You can't return the monitor unless it has about 8 dead pixels (I believe) and 3 of the monitors were completely fine - one monitor had three dead pixels.

The package was double boxed and had no labels on it -- generally a refurbished model in a plain brown box.

It only came with a VGA cable.

I have a hex monitor stand set up and the set up is amazing.

2 out of 5 eggsToo bad :(

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Too cheap!

Other Thoughts: The first thing I noticed is the poor viewing angle. My screen sits on a computer desk so the screen is lower than my head. The screen goes from a rich color at the top, all the way to a washed out almost white at the bottom. If I bend down and look at it EXACTLY level, it looks better, but anything off of dead center and it looks like it's broken.

The MAIN thing that bums me out is that every time the screen is shut off or goes to sleep, the image is shifted half off the screen when turned back on. EVERY TIME i wake up or turn the screen on, I have to go into the monitor settings and choose "auto" to get the screen back to the center. This messes up all my color preferences so I have to redo all those to. So it's like a "manual" monitor, each time I turn it on, I have to spend a couple minutes setting it up.

It won't stay on the "auto" setting nor can I manually move the screen back because it is way too far off screen for the image shift values to work. So my choices are "leave the thing on 24/7, or reset all the preferences each time I turn it off". Kind of makes it unusable. I'll have to buy a different one I guess...

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Inexpensive, good quality picture, good brightness and contrast.

Cons: Stand is very wobbly and the viewing angle is a bit narrow. Not a huge deal, though.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't use it as my main monitor, but it's a great cheap secondary 1080p screen. Doesn't come with a DVI cable.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad.

Pros: The monitors are adjustable.
-The image quality is rather good.
-The brightness is high enough to where its acceptable -but, not enough to hurt your eyes.
-1920 by 1080 resolution support.
-Both DVI and VGA connection
-Cheap.

Cons: -The image looks a bit washed out.
-If you use a DVI converter for the VGA port the image has those weird cascading lines going on that you see when your looking through a camera at them and that is without looking through a camera not sure if it does that if you just use the VGA cable tho, as I only have DVI and higher connections.
-Cannot buy an extended warranty for them.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, the monitors are good for starter monitors and if you need say like a cheap alternative if your monitors break. I'd recommend these monitors really I bought two for a new computer setup and the person I got them for loves them. The price was good and the quality is also good so no complaints here. I'm just going to replace the VGA cable I'm using with a DVI as it doesn't do the cascading lines on DVI.
