Other Thoughts: A longer cable would be nice, but the one provided is perfect for traveling. Buy a USB 3.0 extension cable (not a USB 2.0 extension) when you order this if you're using it on a desktop system.

Pros: Great motherboard all together and has everything you need to run a Vishera out of the box. I ordered this board because I got one DOA from Newegg and I stepped it up to this one instead of a cheaper one from MSI. This board has been a pain in the neck because the sideways USB 3.0 ports onboard. I bent the pins on the connector and got a RMA from MSI. Then I got a new board that has good pins but wont post. Finally a new RMA from MSI and I get a good board with good USB pins and believe me I took my time carefully hooking up the USB bracket. I am reviewing this board again with a good rating because of the friendly people over the phone that helped me get my system up and running again. It has been a great customer service experience and this MOBO comes with a great warranty. It is a must have purchase.

Cons: USB 3.0 port onboard needs to be carefully plugged in to avoid damage to the pins unless you have a really big case with lots of room to make mistakes. THE RMA PROCESS IN TOTAL TOOK OVER A MONTH! I really don't care how long it takes but a word of advice, check every port on a new motherboard and RMA it fast from Newegg instead of waiting a month from the manufacturer.

Other Thoughts: Get this board, find any problems right away, and get it straightened out with Newegg. You will be a happy customer.

Pros: I bought this to replace my old e6600 lga775 rig. To say I am satisifeid is an understatement. This thing performs far beyond what I was hoping to get out of it. It removed my bottleneck and instantly granted me 25-50fps above what I was getting before with far higher graphics settings.

Definitely a fantastic buy. And the fact I got it on sale with 10 bucks off just made the deal even sweeter.

Cons: The stock cpu fan is like a little turbo. It is very loud compared to my old 120mm cpu cooler. HWMonitor shows it buzzing along at 4300-4500rpm in game.

I suppose its not all that annoying in game if you have the volume up. But it spools up occassionally while just using the computer. In these instances, it gets a tad annoying.

If you are coming from a system with a quiet aftermarket cooler, be sure to expect the desire to replace it due to the noise level.

Pros: plug and play, perfectly design for your palm! (right handed) maybe ackward for the leftys.

Pros: Very bright, no dead pixels, HUGE.

Cons: Navigation is terrible, and i-Menu software has no English menu. Not a big fan of the glossy bezel, but I'll get used to it.

Other Thoughts: I think with a little better design of the i-Menu software (buttons are very hard to press, so software is a better solution) they'd have a real winner here.

Pros: I was expecting a drive wrapped in bubble wrap. This came with a box and packing just like retail drives. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit to an Acer Aspire 7551-3749 laptop. The old drive failed and no data could be recovered due to every block being bad. It is very responsive and quick for a non-SSD drive. I haven't done a Windows assessment yet, but it feels quick enough for me and my client. The 3 year warranty it pretty good as well.

Cons: It's not a 64MB cache drive.

Other Thoughts: Even though it is not a 64MB cache drive, the price-point cannot be beaten. A 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 2.5" Internal Notebook Hard Drive for $70 is a great deal.

Pros: Legacy DB9 serial connector (we're still stuck with it but it's a good ol' stable standard), dual monitor support, fanless bridge, color-coded connectors, and the charge-only USB connectors were a nice touch.

Cons: Intel's heat sink and fan mounting infrastructure is not nearly as robust as AMD's.

Other Thoughts: This motherboard in combination with a 77W Core i5 and SSD make for a fast yet quiet workstation that is the envy of users in the office that haven't gotten theirs yet.
