Pros: I've gotten close to 3000 hours of used out of one of these bulbs. This comes out to replacement once per year.

Cons: The projector model was discontinued so these bulbs may become harder to find in the future.

Other Thoughts: I run my HC3000U in 'Energy Saver' mode everyday for 6+ hours per day. The bulb end-of-life warning shows up about a month before the bulb actually dies.
