5 out of 5 eggsGood - Basic & Functional

Pros: Strong, Infinite combinations, practical and heavy duty. Has all the 3 degrees of adjustments you would need.
I noticed that the screws on the "+" member were very tight, had to use a vice to undo them.

Cons: The bolts need to be very tight, no fine adjustment

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great with an odd screw layout

Pros: Works great with my Epson 730HD which has a painfully odd layout for the mounting screws. The spiral design seems to work with anything. The construction is sufficiently beefy, there is no flex to worry about.

Cons: Not really a con, but be aware - it takes some fiddling to get the alignment of the arms just the way you want it.

Other Thoughts: All the projector manufacturers suck for not following a standard like VESA. Is a standard screw layout all that hard?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product

Pros: Very sturdy and easy to install. I was able to feed all the cabling through the top of the mount which resulted in a very clean look. Shipping was faster than I expected.

Cons: Didn't include a 1/4 x 20 screw necessary for my LG PB63U projector.

Other Thoughts: I used this to mount my LG PB63U. Since the projector is so small, I didn't use the arms and chose to mount it directly to the round plate which worked great.

4 out of 5 eggsworks cheap

Pros: cheap price and works great once you get the correct screws so much nicer having the projector out of the way

Cons: Had to go to the hardware store to get the correct screws to make this work with my Optima projector.

5 out of 5 eggs4-7 Day shipping, received on the SECOND DAY

Pros: Easy to set up
Feels sturdy
Had the right screws for my Panasonic PT-AR100U
Price was awesome compared to other web sites/brands
Was delivered MUCH faster than I paid for

Cons: Instructions were a bit vague but I put it together without any issues.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this late Tuesday night and it was delivered Thursday at noon. Pretty amazing for me considering I selected 4-7 day shipping and was not expecting it anytime soon! Good job Newegg! Just reminds me why I buy so much stuff here...

5 out of 5 eggsRight Side Up

Pros: I needed a mount that would hold my projector and after some puzzle solving, I managed to get it to work.

(I mounted this thing right side up. Read other thoughts for the full story)

Cons: My projector only has 3 mount holes and 1 is directly under the round swirl on the mount. If I did it right I could tighten a leg on there through the swirl openings and make it work.

Since I mounted the unit right side up, I was able to find some good places to put the legs for proper weight distribution. Rather than hitting that other mount hole, which would of made the whole unit strained.

Other Thoughts: While I know that this mount was made to be installed in the ceiling; my girlfriend refused to let me do that damage to our apartment. So I made our bookshelf taller and mounted it right side up, on top of the bookshelf.

This mount was not made to go that way as I said. There are hooks (J's) that hold it together and they will slowly slide out whenever you adjust the tilt up and down.

Black zip-ties worked wonders on wedging the hooks so that the big screws didn't slide. It is advised if you do this method to put some on the left and right tilt part (No J hooks), as well otherwise too much adjusting will cause it to lose tightness and drop your expensive projector onto the surface that the mount is mounted to.

4 out of 5 eggsEasy to Use

Pros: It was super easy to setup out of the box. I'm kind of construction handicapped but this was really straight forward. It feels nice and strong. I'm not worried about it falling. My projector is kind of old and has a very high powered fan on it but the mount doesn't sway at all.

Cons: It is a little bit of an eye sore. I have this in my theater room and most people do notice that it is really large when they enter the room.

Other Thoughts: The size doesn't bother me as much anymore.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat mount for the price

Pros: Great product for the price, I used it with a small epson projector, setup time was a couple of minutes.

Cons: It seems to be hard to tight the screws enought and I needed to constantly re-ajust the position of the projector. Also, I just upgraded to an epson 8350 and it will not reach the screw mounts, so I will need to buy a new one

3 out of 5 eggsTook some playing with

Pros: It was a good price on sale and comes with all the hardware to work with about any projector, even my interesting one with some creative adjustment.

Cons: I almost sent this back, the lack of instructions can make it a bit of a challenge, especially with my small mounting holes in my projector I had to look at some pictures online before it clicked.

4 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: Sub $20 when on sale!
Small and very easy to put together.
This thing was great for the price. I mounted a Viewsonic Pro8200 in about 20 minutes.

Cons: The hardware isn't top notch quality but for the price you shouldn't expect anything more than what you get in this.
If you want a mount that is above and beyond in fit and finish this isn't it.
If you are putting together a Living Room Theater or something of the like than this is a great solution for the price!

Other Thoughts: Have patience when assembling and use the right size screwdrivers so you don't strip the screws.
