4 out of 5 eggsOverall decent stand

Pros: The base, stand, and arms are very sturdy. The clamp is strong enough that i dont have any worries about it falling over. Putting it together was a breeze overall.

Cons: Im running 2 27 inch monitors, but in order for them to work at all, they have to be totaly flat. If your thinking about this for 27", then keep that in mind. Also adjusting the mounts so that everything lines up, leaves lots to be desired. When I got this, the box it came in was broken and open. This is probably due to the very thin walled box, and no tape on the opening. Thankfully I got all the parts, and nothing was damaged.

Other Thoughts: For a budget stand, this does work ok. Its not going to break or fall over anytime soon. But I wish that the arms could be an inch or two longer so that I could tilt the monitors. Also, I would have gladly paid a bit more money, to have it shipped in a better box.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Impressed

Pros: These arms have a very sturdy construction and offer versatile setups and motion for adjusting the position of the monitors. Also, these have the best price for the quality I have ever seen.

Cons: Both monitors must sit at the same level and the tilt, while sturdy and functional, it requires using an Allen wrench.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than I expected

Pros: It is more solid and more adjustable than I had expected from the online description. I was unclear on max height (seems adjustable for monitor center up to 17.75 inches above the desk, which is higher than I want for my portrait mode 27 inch displays. It adjusts down easily.) I was worried the arm length wasn't long enough to get displays both far enough from each other and far enough from the back of the desk. But the total span (max center of one monitor to center of the other) is over 33 inches. Two landscape mode 27 inch monitors with typical bezels and no inward angle would need to be 25 inches apart, which should put the backs of the monitors up to 11 inches from the back of the table. Portrait mode, an inward angle, or smaller monitors would allow you significantly more than 11 inches from the back of the desk. The arms bend in the middle to waste the excess for most of us who don't want the max extent.
I thought from the online info this model did not support pivot between portrait and landscape, so for portrait I would need to assemble it permanently portrait. Not true. It rotates 360 degrees on that axis.

Cons: It didn't actually fit my table, but I kludged something. The tightness adjustment is a bit tricky. I haven't yet found the spot where a 27 inch monitor won't tilt down from its own weight but can be adjusted by hand (for the moment it is set too tight, losing some adjustability). But I think I can find the right tightness later. A smaller monitor would not need it as tight so would have a wider range of OK tightness.
The assembly instruction mention the two "plastic stopper" parts twice but not in any way that gave me even a clue what they are for, so I hope they were not needed. Two other tiny parts were packed with zero mention in instructions. I think they are to stop you from accidentally lifting the monitor out of the end of arm when adjusting. I don't think that accident would ever happen and haven't tried inserting those parts yet. But I probably will.

Other Thoughts: I bought the open box one, saving just a little. All the tiny parts were present, but no one had taped the tiny parts bag closed, so they were scattered through both the inner and outer shipping box (original inner box had a hole in it, obviously not as originally shipped). Nothing harmed nor missing, just repacked badly. Collection of tiny parts was daunting at first look but most parts aren't really needed (16 tiny parts are only for curved back monitors and I have flat back monitors). The only parts you really need are 8 screws to attach two monitors with four screws each and the allen wrench (if you don't have your own set) to adjust the tightness for the rotation and tilt adjustment.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid two monitor stand

Pros: Does what it states it will do. Attachment device is solid, did not damage my cherry desk and it was easy to install.

Cons: Vertical adjustment on each side independently would have been nice as I have two different sized monitors, but it was clear in the add that it did not do this.

3 out of 5 eggsGood arms, but weak desk mount

Pros: These arm mounts are very sturdy, and easily adjustable with multiple points of articulation, easy height adjustment, and tilt refining/rotating. They seem to be almost completely metal. They would get 5 stars but...

Cons: The mounting method for connecting to the desk...The vice grip that presses against the desk is plastic. After tightening it to the desk I heard a cracking sound. I paid it no mind until later when I removed the arms to move the desk. The grip was shattered....This piece NEEDS to be as tight as possible so the stand is stable. Everything on this product is metal, EXCEPT THE ONE PART THAT NEEDS TO BE STURDY, the mounting pad in the vice! Other people/video reviews have complained about this too.

Other Thoughts: Now here is the thing, this is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest dual arm mount around. Its solidly made in all other respects. What I did was take a metal disc and wedged it between the desk and screw in the vice to hold the stand up securely.

Honestly with the price and the actual good parts of the arms I would recommend this if you dont want to spend a lot. Just be prepared the vice pad could crack, but its easily fixed with a basic fix like the one I mentioned.

3 out of 5 eggsBest bang for you buck... sort of

Pros: -Least expensive monitor mount like it on the market
-(Most of)The parts are solid steel
-Monitors can go up pretty high, after the clamp is attached to the desk the pole measures 39CM high

Cons: My first and most notable gripe is the knob you use to tighten the monitor arms onto the pole.. the screw it self is steel but the knob attached to that which turns it is made of plastic?! So inevitably while trying to get it tight the plastic threads stripped off, meaning I would either have to tighten it with some tool (which another reviewer had to do) or thankfully my coworker welded a piece of solid metal to the screw so now I have full metal knob and was able to get it extremely tight. I thought that maybe I was tightening it too hard but the monitor arms were leaning forward and now I know that you can tighten the C clamp completely tight.

Speaking of the C clamp, it has two soft circular pads stuck to either side which is a nice little addition, but they became useless after having the monitor arms drop numerous times and sliding up/down while installing it, so they aren't stuck to it that well. Very minor complaint.

Which brings me to my next point that installation is a huge pain in my *nether regions*. You can't really complain given the price, especially since I got it 40% off, it probably took me 5 or more hours (minus the time it took to make a decent knob) to install. Even now my slight OCD is kicking in and getting the monitors leveled and adjusted properly is really annoying since as soon as you loosen the screws on the mount, your monitor instantly becomes limp. What I did was I stacked books up on my desk and leaned my monitor over it then tightened it.

Lastly as people have mentioned the packaging is extremely bare bones, thankfully mine came with all the screws, wasn't damaged, and it shipped really fast. The instructions are also awful, I don't even know what these plastic stoppers are for.

Other Thoughts: If you can't make your own customized knob like I did or have access to epoxy or some heavy duty glue to fix it or don't mind using some tool to tighten it then don't buy it. I have no idea why they didn't spend the extra 2 cents to make the knob full metal, otherwise this would easily be a 5 star ultimate budget monitor mount.

5 out of 5 eggsReally Nice Monitor Mount

Pros: Great value, considering there are more expensive solutions that do less than this mount is capable of.

Very sturdy materials. I have never worried about anything breaking, even with a heavy monitor extended all the way out.

Plenty of options for adjusting the orientation of the displays. There are 3 joints that can be swiveled and one that can rotate. You can pretty much move your monitors in any direction if you need to.

Cons: None at all.

Other Thoughts: I've owned this mount for about 2 years and have had no problems at all. If I ever need to create another dual monitor setup, I would definitely buy this mount again.

1 out of 5 eggsShipping is awful

Pros: None. Wasn't able to use the product

Cons: Shipping is awful. The box arrived half open and wasn't even taped up. As a result the monitor arms were missing.

Other Thoughts: If you buy this you run a high risk of receiving only half the parts.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid this item

Pros: It is made of metal.

Cons: About everything else. The box was battered with a hole, bad packaging. Came missing screws, spacers, alan wrench etc. The mounting clamp does not work with my desk since there is only a 1.5 inch lip on my desk and there is no supported alternate way to mount.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent but first one needed RMA. NewEgg has a RMA process - first time I've ever used.

Pros: Very inexpensive when it is on sale. It holds together well for two 22" monitors and plenty of play room. I plan to upgrade to two 24" 144Htz monitors and should have still plenty of maneuvering for it since I can't sit still and requires a lot of moving. If you don't already have a monitor mount, you would be surprised on how much desk space it will free up.

Cons: The packaging would be my only real con about this mount as my first one arrived and needed an RMA. The second one arrived three days later thankfully and allowed me to start playing with it. I learned that my particle board desk needed reinforcements as the monitors would shake while I was typing. I didn't know how big the foot print was below where it mounted as well, it nearly scraps the top of my PC - nearly six inches when I first had it unscrewed prior to mounting. I also cut the metal handle a bit so I could keep it closer to the mounting points of the desk so it prevents movement when typing.

Other Thoughts: It simply needs a better box for shipping, otherwise, this mount exceeds expectations for the amount I purchased it for.
